Can you set it up so players below the age of 16 cannot have access to skills or magic? And players below age 20 have limited pvp ability?

I like the edits that a lot of you guys have made, but there's still one thing that gets at me; The cooldown on names for characters. Sure, I can delete the card and have a replacement, but I like to be able to quick do /setname and be able to change my name for an animal, or something along those lines. It's really fun, and I love roleplaying like that. If you could at least bring the cooldown down a bit for certain ranks, or not, that's fine.


Another thing that I'm not quite fond of is the idea of the skills system; I like the idea for professions, not general things such as wielding a blade, or just regular combat. That's uneven, and it makes mechanic things such as PvP default and others harder (assuming that it's implemented in such a way that player X has a lower level, therefore dealing less damage than player Y) for newer players that might have an interaction like that.

I like the idea of it for professions, such as blacksmithing, woodcutting, and fishing. Things like that, that can actually earn a player minas, and open economies. But if it's implemented for simple things such as combat (especially when regarding the PvP side of things), I have to draw the line there. 

Other than that, and disregarding my previous, upset comments, I wish to see some great development from you all.

The numbers came from upstairs, so I can only guess what the official reasoning was, but I see the changes as a gameplay change meant to have players put more consideration into individual Personas rather than cycling through larger amounts of them.

 

In future updates that I am aware of it becomes attractive for the characters your character surrounds themselves with to be more reliably available (without having to poke them via tells/skype to get on that particular alt). Off the top of my head, here's reasons why you'd want that:

 

1) Every town will need a certain activity level to be recognized as a township, and having a resident which also has many alts cannot muster up the same activity as a resident dedicated to only that Persona.

2) Nexus Craft places much more emphasis on players working together, each Persona exercising one particular Profession and creating a supply chain for their community. If one of the vital links in the chain spends more time between alts, it will hinder resource allocation which is bad for the collective. In the same vein, leveling three alts is tougher than leveling only 2.

 

And as to why alts were limited prematurely, this has to do with deathlines on the VIP perks, and to allow for more specific feedback (between 4.0 feedback, magic feedback, skill feedback AND the new Core system it would've been impossible to wade through the response)

Thank you Devs/Techies for the fix on the persona cards. I felt that this new patch was a focus on the donator but you have fixed that.

For the people saying they /setname for another character- Isn't there an emote that allows you to just type in words and not have it following your name? As in a general emote? I'm fairly sure I saw a command like that last time I was in-game.

I'm sure this is quite obviously a bug. I don't particularly want to wait 24 hours to name loot for events.

:hmm:  Then ill get sporadic to fix that.

 

I've yet to see an update in this. I still receive a 24-hour cooldown on the /renameevent item command after it had been used.

This has... Killed any possible interest of mine of getting back on the server. Sorry, anyone who used to play with me, but until LoTC offers something more desirable, I'm out. Sorry guys.
