Do you have any past experience moderating Minecraft servers?:

Aye, I have moderated several servers.

I ran 1 moderately popular Survival Multiplayer Server for about 6 months. I pretty much ran it by myself, and learned how to do many useful things such as World Edit and how to use the console properly, as well as how to be friendly and deal with players in a mature yet friendly way. 

 

I also was a GM for the Minecraft Roleplaying server Legend of Aelryth. I was one of the most active moderators, and did most of the modreqs for my timezone. This taught me how to do modreqs and how to properly deal with many situations that would also occur on LotC. 

 

There were also a couple of smaller roleplaying servers that I have moderated, all of which died due to lack of donation funds. 

 

I also currently serve the Application Team, which has allowed me to work with other members of the community, and some other GM's. I feel that this has given me some positive experience towards being a good GM if I am chosen.

 

Why have you decided to create a trial GM application?:

I feel as if I would be a good fit for the GM team. GMing is something that I am quite good at, and I know that I could be helpful to the team and the community as a whole. I currently have a decent amount of free time on my hands, with even more on the way due to school ending soon. I'm friendly with most players, though I know how to look at a situation from a neutral standpoint and remain unbiased if the situation calls for it. Being friendly with many players will also allow me to bring a good, friendly GM presence within the community, as well as bring much needed feedback.

 

All-in-all, I have decided to create a GM application because LotC has become a part of my life, and I want to help it continue growing for quite some time to come.

 

Additional information:

I'm a construction worker in real life, and I'll be damned if that job hasn't taught me how to work my ass off, and I think I can apply that same motivation as an LotC GM.

Oh god yes. I support this guy to hell and back. Even from back on LoA, he was the best, and pretty much only active moderator. Aside from some obvious bias, as he is a long time internet friend, he is just a nice, chill guy. Never truly seen him mad, and he's had to calm me down a few times. He's not biased, he's friendly, he's smart, and most importantly; he's already shown that he can be one good ******* moderator. Perfect for the role in every sense.

 

I urge the admin team to accept this fine man, as he is the role model for a great moderator! +1
