"With the onset of massive military reform amidst an Empire once again on the anvil, it has been of the Marshal and the Privy Council's desire that more advanced forms of army training be implemented.  In addition to a far greater deliberation on strict discipline in the ranks and rewards for long service, it has been deemed that practice for real wars become compulsory for new recruits.  Termed as "wargames", these will serve to demonstrate and execute to infantrymen for real what has been taught to them on paper and through words.  They will also serve the pvrpose of providing a window for prospective officers to show their leadership ability.

 

All that said, several days prior to the 25th of the First Seed, as some may have heard anew, the first Orenian wargames have been announced by the August Imperial Marshal, and are expected to begin by the end of the month. ((this coming Friday)).

 

The following topics will be covered and demonstrated:

I. Charging maneuvers

II. Trench warfare

III. Fortress-to-fortress siegecraft

 

It is imperative that all those who can attend do so as per the Marshal's request.  Those attending will rally outside the noble courtyard's walls in the imperial capital of Kaldonia, after which we will proceed to the wargames district."

 

((Official date for the wargames is 4/25/2014, this coming Friday, in the evening when as many people as possible are on.  There may be extra events across the whole weekend.  Any and all Orenian military members should attend.  I guarantee it will be fun as ****.  Apologies on any confusion regarding this date.))
