Sloppy Note In Alras

A sloppy note is left in Alras nailed onto the fountain. perhaps the writer has bad hand writing, maybe he wishes not to be noticed, or perhaps... He ate shrooms prior to this. The note reads.

ROSso"

 

Under the letter is a pool of vomit, a few green leaves, and what seems to be a purple shroom is left in the orange concoction of nastiness

If someone were to search the vomit they would find that there is a half digested letter in some form of a cipher inside reading but.. It has changed since you last saw it. What is it? What is it not? Is it a note? Perhaps it is a key. Perhaps it is more. It reads

Ruonna walks by the fountain on the way to her house and sees a note. She stops to read it, avoiding the mess at the base of the fountain and then laughs. "Really? How is that possible? Rosso died. Mother even went to Rosso's funeral."  She shakes her head in amusement and muses softly "Even if Dan is a bit weird at times, this is a bit much. After all, it's not like the rest of us aren't weird." She goes over the message again and bites her lip, thinking about how such a thing would be possible. After a moment she shrugs and walks on to her house, not sure why someone would even want to become their child, even in theory, or who could be evil enough to steal their own child's life like that. Besides, even if it were true, who would know? It's not like she ever knew Rosso, and she doubts many people in Alras did either.

Samson brings the note to his home, grumbling as he goes. When he arrives, he washes it off, and sets it to dry. 

~3 hours later...~

Samson returns, sits down and scowls. How would he solve this code? Were his last thoughts, before he began.

~45min later..~

"I have done it!" he cries.

Samson reads over the code slowly, before shedding a tear. He promptly collapses on the table, and begins to sob.
