Traits

 

Maehr’onns are generally born with platinum coloured hair, straight and sleek. They are of average Elven height, with varying builds, usually befitting that of a guardsman or soldier. Despite being no strangers to the art of combat and war, Maehr’onns are more often pushed towards scholarly or, more commonly, arcane orientated futures, delving down the path of the politician or the arcane.

 

The Maehr’onns have strong and pure magical bloodlines, being quite adamant on breeding with other powerful magical families in order to maintain this supremacy.

Acal’elor

~Traits~

 

Acal’elors usually have hair that takes the colour of platinum blonde with no traditional hairstyle and having green coloured eyes. They are on average 6’1 in height and being a slender lithe build. Their faces are effeminate in looks with sharp features with prominent elven ears and would seem appealing if not attractive to most, this is mostly due to centuries of selective breeding each positive trait attributed to keeping the bloodline pure. The Acal’elor are often mired in intrigue and subterfuge being able to keep one face for the public and stalk the shadows if the occasion calls for it.

The Acal’elor possess a strong magical bloodline spanning the full ten generations of the families existence, believing the bloodlines magical power to grow in strength each passing generation. Clothing is usually quite distinct although in keeping with the customs of the Mali’aheral, being no strangers to combat armour styles of the Acal’elors include tightly fitted Aheral forged and styled plate though thin and light, it is so tightly fit that it allows easy movement without the noise of armour pieces clanging together, designed for quiet movement. Nominal wear in times of peace will include generic robing of the colours matching the sigil of the bloodline. All complete with shoes or boots not being worn as an Acal’elor will often be barefoot or wearing footwraps as it allows for movement to be graceful and quiet.

Siil'crux

"Purity’s Longevity"

The Siil’crux bloodline remains mostly obscure throughout the history of the Mali’aheral. It is only now that they have come out of the shadows and have begun apparent interactions with the Mali-kind. Despite their past isolation, the Siil’crux have kept an archive of common knowledge, keeping themselves updated and cultured.

 

Traits & Culture:

 

The Siil’crux bloodline contains a plethora of physically favored traits, their height averaging at 6’5 with angular facial features. Their lips run thin, taught and pursed with determination whilst their eyes, usually blue or green, flit curiously about filled with the family’s usual inquisition. Their platinum-gold or silver hair are worn moderately long, a show of pride and a symbol of their beauty and eloquence.

 

Members of the Siil’crux bloodline maintain a certain composure and stand, brimming with an air of poise and elegance, unlike many Mali’aherals’ rigid salutes, the Siil’crux demonstrate their flexibility and skill with a particularly tedious and often physically exhausting dance. 

 

Magically and physically inclined, Siil’crux participate their children in a selective process of judgement. The most gifted individuals are chosen as the family’s breeder(s), those whom are in charge of maintaining the family’s most favored attributes through breeding, whilst the rest are put aside into “branch families,” branches of the family meant to serve the main or most favored branch. These branch families are considered lesser individuals, often considered second-hand citizens by the rest of the family, save the branch family’s children of course. When a new family head/ breeder is needed, the children, including the branch children, are judged and tested. Should the child of a branch family proves himself or herself superior to that of the main branch’s child, that wing of the family will supersede those in current power and remain in said position until a new breeder is needed. Despite these possible circumstances, the main family has always remained in power throughout the bloodline’s entire history.

Origins

 

The Asul’Ailer family traces it lineage back to the realm of Asulon, descending from Juliet (Rosaria) Sullas and Aranwe Lazul. As a result of their marriage, Celaena Lazul was born, and later married Arlanthir Asul’Ailer, son of Faenir and Adriana. Celaena and Arlanthir both lived actively in Haelun’or for some time; Arlanthir working as Councilman while Celaena ran an apothecary and practiced medicine. As a result of the Haelun’or schism in Asulon, Celaena and Arlanthir were forced to split from the Silver State. While living in Malinor, they birthed their sons Ceruberr and Saeldur.

 

Ceruberr was the first of the family to return to the path of purity in Lin’everal, advancing to Arch-Mage of the Mages Guild and holding an active influence within the community. After the destruction of Anthos, Ceruberr convinced his brother Saeldur to leave the Mages Guild and become a citizen of Haelun’or to help progress the family. Both Ceruberr and Saeldur have resided as citizens of the State since, continuing to actively practice their magic alongside other studies.

 

 

 

Traits

 

In terms of physical appearance, common traits include pure platinum colored hair accompanied with radiant green or icy blue coloured eyes. Asul’Ailer’s also exhibit pure mali’aheral traits such as a tall and lithe frames and fair pale skin. Their builds have developed over time from a slightly more muscular physique to a more nimble form due to their scholarly pursuits.

 

The Asul’Ailer family differs from many traditional mali’aheral families by leaning more towards the liberal side of High Elven culture. Most Asul’Ailer’s are curious, logical, and altruistic, having a desire to help others without want of reward nor praise. Despite these traits they continue to hold purity in the highest regard, and seek to further their own knowledge and progress in a variety of fields. As a result, many of the Asul’Ailer line have taken a considerable interest in the arcane, alchemy and politics. The Asul’Ailer family strongly values balance, the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya and the protection of their kin, and are not afraid to take action to defend those they hold in high regard.
