Praxedis Point

We found ourselves uprooted once more, carrying nothing but the cloths on our back and the memories of what once was. Our home yet again swallowed by the unknown, comrades lost to the confusion of migration. However, we knew we were not permanent members of what was called the Fringe, only guests.

We find ourselves now in a new land, Thales. A place we once again understand is not our true and permanent home, much like The Fringe, it serves merely as a gateway to what is next. The Motherland will soon find its final place in our worlds; Until then, we have Thales. We have Praxedis Point.

Named after an old name among the Teutonic Order’s records; A Sariant who was well liked and respected. We had lost this brother a while ago, over a century of time has passed since he was seen bearing the Black Cross. There still exists those who remember his name, so very few indeed but nonetheless he is remembered as are all loyal Sariants are promised.

The war that has been raging on for years has been put on hold as we all stumble to gain a firm footing once again. Initially stripped of our ability to do battle against an enemy that threatens our very existence, the necessity for a settlement was the most pressing. Our duty to provide for the Hansetian people was paramount, our duty to provide safety to all others came a close second. Praxedis Point was Hanseti’s answer to the grief and fear of uncertainty and the unknown.

The men and women of Hanseti and the faithful members of the Teutonic Order extend our arms in welcome to all who seek refuge in these troubling times. We welcome those who wish to find purpose, find work, find a community; Find a home. We offer up many great opportunities, and the people of this world, a future of promise.

Join us at Praxedis’ Point and the Realm of Hanseti can offer citizenship to the nation that will not only extend until the extent of our time in Thales but also into all future lands that Hanseti will call home. We also offer several opportunities to make a name for yourself in a quickly developing nation, an array of new prospects and purpose. Citizenship means you have access to all this and even the ability to join the ranks of the legendary Teutonic Order or any other national military service. Help us build a nation to stand the test of time, a nation that is good to its people and a nation that provides; And we will help you live with security and purpose, or a find a nice place to settle down.

Currently we are looking for scholars and workers alike. All skills and professions are desirable in this new world, all methods of production are worth something to Hanseti; Farmers, loggers, miners, stone masons, carpenters, chefs, blacksmiths, tinkerers, etc. If you are interested in anything you have seen here we encourage you to seek us out, contact a member of the Teutonic Order or go where your travels take you.

May the light guide you, may your will protect.

Darion looks out over Praxedis point. "I miss the constant snow." he says as he walks around the settlement. "Though I guess this will do for now."

Loud clanging noises emanate from the town smithy. Jarvik would wipe the sweat from his brow and look to his brudda Vulf.

"Ehh aye, lets niet let down teh Hochmeister, Bei Lanz Hanseti!"

He would raise his hammer skywards, continuing on with his work the loud crashing and smashing would resume once more.

Sariant Adjutant 'Titan' steadily marches past the many workstations, occasionally jotting things down onto a clipboard. The web of work woven by the Sariants of the Order was coming into full fruition. Homes, farms, and shops sprouted from the earth as more citizens flooded the streets. Old and new faces scurried about the growing buildings, and it proved to be a refreshing atmosphere for her.

Perching atop the hillside, she scans over the written progress report with a content nod of her helmet. "These housing additions will need to be completed before the first harvest…" She writes a quick memo and hands it to a plebeian, who rushes the order to the forge.

Sariant Zealot Vulf, works tirelessly scraping long pieces of hide into leather pieces, before forming it into leather armor. He hears word out of the smithy of the arrival of more and more people everyday and mumbles.

"My luck... even more hours at this damn tanning rack..."

He grits his teeth and works more tirelessly, the only thing urging him on is his patriotic loyalty to the Realm of Hanseti.

"Beliae doe Orden. Bei lanz Hanseti."

Sariant Edric hangs from up in a tree. The good fellows down in the smithy made him a useful harness to help take down trees with. He now hangs from one of the highest trees, one he had been eyeing for days. He snaps off tiny limbs and hacks off larger ones. He takes a moment to stop this job though and look over the town, finally taking into account his amazing view.

"This place takes some hard work... but it is worth it. Couldn't ask for a better town though, better people."

He grins widely before pressing away from the tree, holding his hatchet toward the sky as he shouts.

"Bei lanz Hanse-."

He's cut short as his harness slips as it has loosened. He drops a few feet before lurching forward to wrap his limbs around the tree trunk. He grumbles and slowly lowers himself to the ground. As he gets to his two feet once again he sighs and says quietly to himself.

"It's hard work, but it's worth it."
