Warmth.

It was the only thing he felt now. Looking around the area, Socari noticesd that the trees nearby were a bit warped to his vision. He furrowed his brow a bit before waving a dismissive hand in its direction. In one fluid motion, the tree corrected itself, lifting upright into a better position. Socari smirked, adjusting his ice blue bowtie and starting to stride down the grassy forest.

"Such a facinating thing, really," he began to say to himself. "A world of my creation and understanding. Only for I! Ah... I wish others had such gifts."

Socari stopped, looking down at the edge. Below him sat the crisp, blue sky that dropped forever below. He raised his bright, blue eyes to take in the assortment of other floating islands that had suspended themselves over the missing ground below. He laughed, stepping off the edge.

Instantly, a stonebrick appeared beneath his foot. With a soft whistle, he began to stride across a willfulling expanding bridge that kept in pace with himself. Once across the casm, he hopped off and cotinued down the pathway.

"Ah... I love the dreamscape!"

Meanwhile, in our world:

Socari sits in his chambers. His eyes remain closed and his entire mind shut off from the outside world... for he has entered the Dreamscape and may never return.
