3) As an unrecognised nation, you cannot decline a warclaim.

Alras has been an active nation since Aegis, any veteran knows that.

And it's been less than 24 hours since the server has launched, calm down with war already.

They dissolved, now they're a City state, and nah. I find it kind of bs that land is being given to a nation which cannot support it whilst ours can, only logical thing to do.

Here is a picture to describe how this works.

((

1) Any "supposed" landscars if not serious do not effect anything outside of an eyesore it doesn't hinder your roleplay or pvp if a few trees are knocked down without your consent.

2) You are not a recognized nation unless an official statement is released by the admin team.

3) Just because 4.0 was released doesn't mean you should hide behind OOC walls when legitimate roleplay comes knocking on your door. If you weren't ready to claim the land you claimed maybe you shouldn't have claimed it. Don't set this kind of precedent for the entirety of the server this early on in release. Deal with your problems in roleplay instead of backing out because of OOC reasons.

While I agree that it may be time to slow down on the attacks this early, I don't agree on the other statement. Alras in Asulon was taken over and absorbed into Urguan if I am correct, wasn't around in Anthos at all and then sprung up in temp maps with a population noticeably lower than any other. With that in mind I believe it is safe that Alras is indeed not recognized as an active and official nation for now.

Alras waned into little more than a ghost town in Asulon, I remember this specifically when I took the Subudai to engage King Aislin Forel.

((I quite like Alras, and some of its people. But I don't entirely agree with them being given pre-reserved plots without the numbers to hold their ground, it is as I said. We have the numbers and the activity, as well as that we have people ready to build. Shielding behind OOC walls of admins and rules just makes you look like complete idiots, be a man and take the field.))

((Because DDosing the alrasians and camping the place where they logged out is being man right?))

((Dude, you're attacking with OOC reasons, are you joking? Not to mention it's been less than a full day since the map was opened, how can you judge that Alras has inactive members if there hasn't been enough time on the new map to actually be inactive?))

((I have 6-7 people who would join alras with me but i can't cause on holiday and cant currenty round em up and go there. Many people are on holiday remember un able to do 4.0 things))

((From what I heard the Alrasians did not get any reserved plots or anything at all like that. In fact they didn't even get a place to build or make in 4.0. They banded together with what I was told is 56 ish people to make the nation pillar needed to claim their plot. Getting many people to gather the items needed to make the plots.))

Leaders need to add me in skype and we can sort this out. Don't make this come to a staff choice.

Edit: Once a choice is made this thread will be updated. Please don't take your anger into status updates and other threads.

Last edit:

I had a long awsome message typed out and the forums ate it.....asdfasdfsadf.

Right so.... round 2.

Following the story back as far as I can I THINK alras had the area first but the pillar glitched or was removed and the carrions moved in thinking the region was up for grabs.... then it cycled into gms not knowing the situation and removing pillars and it became a mess quickly.

Although Alras had worked on the area in the Dev they were not to get special treatment in claiming that area... I don't know what happened over there at the start of the map... I was not there.

As of right now Alras has the region and thats how it's going to stay. SO according to current war rules they can not be war claimed without concent.... rules are found here> https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/110437-war-safe-zones-and-fighting-oh-my/ and here> https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/105401-an-update-on-raids-and-skirmishes/

Sorry for the confusion and frustration.

I think war rules need to change and as far as I know changes are in the works... I will see about getting a post up for player feedback on this subject. I also know that a few groups that are large like alras should also have the option at a large claimable region (Carrions and teutons.... prolly more) and maybe we can work something out to add more large regions to the map.
