The bells of Saint Peter's do not ring as the gathering of priests come to order. They have come from all across the land, of every rank within the grand True Faith. Deacons, Priests, Abbots, and Bishops. Presiding over the ceremony, standing at the altar, is the newly coronated High Patriarch, Thomas Primus. He awaits for the gathered priests to take their seats. When it appears everyone of note has arrived, he begins to speak.

"We are pleased that you all have been able to make it to this, the First Clerical Conclave of Petrus. Certainly, many of you have just adjusted to this new land we have arrived in. There are dwellings and abbeys that still need built, such as the venerable abbey of Veracruz. But still, you have answered our summons. We thank you. I say that this is the First Clerical Conclave of Petrus. In reality, we pray and hope with all our might that it will be the last. We must set down an accord to last throughout the ages. One that will live on past our own lives. In this Conclave, we will discuss official ceremonies for rites, we will discuss how to organize our clergy in both abbeys and secular churches, and finally, we will set down our beliefs."

"We will start with organization. Let us hear your thoughts, raise your voices. What are to be the monastic ranks? What are to be the ranks of the secular church? What shall be the procedures for their training?"

The High Patriarch awaits for any that might speak.

Bishop Henry sits in the front row of the pews, he lets out a quiet sigh and stands "High Patriarch, might I be the first one 'ere to welcome you to the position and congratulate you, it was a pleasure working in the Chapel with you back in Kaldonia. I believe that our current ranks within the Church have worked quite well for us, and we should keep the ones established from the past Church.  Might I say that our main concern should be the expansion of Clergy and  gaining new members. Our ranks took a  bit of a dip whilst in Thales and the Fringe, but I do hope now that we are in Athera our ranks will once more fill." Henry fixes his gloves for  a moment and then continues on speaking "Secondly I would like to bring up Raine Academy, I feel to counter this possible bed of insurrection we should open an academy of our own so those who follow the Creator can find good and true education under the ever present eyes of our Lord." he sits back down

Thomas inclines his head to Bishop Henry.

"We thank you for your kind words, good Bishop. Our time in the chapel was some of the best. As to the ranks staying the same, there has been some discussion upon the matter, and we no longer believe such a thing would be convenient. Especially with the construction of abbeys. I too, share your confidence in our growing ranks once more."

Thomas then strokes his beard slightly at the suggestion of the academy.

"It would depend on what kind of academy you mean. We will ask you to expand on that idea later. But for now- we wish to hear more ideas about our organization."

"His Reverence, the Bishop brings up a good point. The Raine Acadamy is quite an issue. Maybe we can open a cathedral school below the Saint Peter Cathedral?

In other news, the Abbey of Veracruz is going along quite well. I was going to be holding clerical lessons every Saints Week, as well as beginning distribution of the Book of Nativatas.

In regards to ranks, I believe the old ranking has served us well and works fine when applied to secular clergy. In all honesty though, even the newly created monastic ranks don't need to be that reorganized. Due to the small population of clergy, my abbey current only has two ranks, monk and abbot. If the abbey does expand then there may be a prior there as well. But ranks seem like the least of the clergy's issues.

Abbot Humbert de Poissy sits down after his short speech.

"Very well then, the ranks of the church shall stay as Acolyte, then Deacon, then Priest, then Bishop, with my own post at the top. Acolytes shall have a short period of training within the abbey, perhaps a few months. After this period of time they will be sent back unto the secular church for training as a Deacon. Once finished with that training they will be ordained. Is this agreeable to everyone?

"As to the academy- again, discussion on that must wait until more important matters are out of the way."

Abbot Humbert stands up again at the conclave, clearing his throat before speaking.

"I proposed to the Emperor that a law be passed to make sure the Church of the Reformed Communion can regulate the religious crimes within the Empire. This could be simply solved by establishing a sort of church court to make sure that we keep a close eye on such proceedings. A clergyman would preside over the court, and only the Head of Faith, or any clergical superior can interfere. The court would nominally see the resolution of marital issues, accusations of heresy, or any major sins or scandals that were not confessed. Any other issues brought directly to the court can possibly be accommodated based on the issue. What say you brothers of the Church to this humble proposition? Your Holiness, perhaps you'd care to weigh your opinion on the matter?"

Humbert sits down after his short speech.

Henry nods in agreement with the Abbot, "Aye! I agree with the Abbot 'ere. The Church must regulate what is and what is not heresy through a proper court! If we let the army do it they might go about giving the church a bad name by wrongly executing or maiming individuals!."

"A magnificent idea, one that I have been pondering myself. I concur with you, and will add this to the Golden Bull issued after this Conclave."

The Abbot speaks again.

"After so many times of passing through the gates of Petrus, I have never heard the name of our Creator being praised. We must change this, guardsmen must shout 'Deus Magnus' or any other sort of praise in a simple attempt to allow any non-believer visitors of Petrus to hear the name of the Creator. In this day and age, where the Creator and the Church is becoming less important in favor of Imperial steel. We must act to fight back the plague of non-believers. As any true servant of the Creator knows, we all must work to spread the Creator's word so that all of the realms can rejoice at His name."

The concerned abbot wipes some sweat off his brow before taking a seat again, concerned with the Church's well-being.

"It does indeed trouble me that the cries of Ave Oren and Ave Chivay have now far outweighed the immortal cries of praise to the Creator. But we do not thing this should be an obligation. For what meaning is there behind the words if they are forcibly said, repeated as a simple script? Instead, we should lead by example. Say it in greeting, and farewell. Hopefully such good habits will spread amongst the populace."

"I have tried to endorse guardsmen to salute this as well, yet to no avail. They refuse to listen to a servant of the Creator, instead demanding that only an order from their superior or the Emperor would suffice."

"Then I will go to their superiors and ask them to encourage their men to do such, but it will remain a matter of choice."
