Stevie 1598 Share Posted September 9, 2014 A letter is sent to the Office of the newest High Pontiff, sealed in a simple wax seal bearing no sigil or marking. __________________________________ To his Holiness, High Pontiff Daniel, I, Hectorius Sparrow, aged fourty-one, was formerly ordained as a Bishop under the caesaropapist model of the Church of the Reformed Communion, at the behest of my half-brother, the then Prince Robert. I ask that such a title not be reinstated, and my rank be suited to a man of more humble beginnings. My duty is more suited to the development of doctrine and simple sermons – not holding mass over a congregation as large as an army. If I am denied such a rank, I shall humbly request to be placed in a monastery, to live my life in solitude and at the will of God. I shall also be taking a more humble name, one that expels my family tie and devotes my heart more fully to God. I should hope this letter reaches you in a timely manner. I write to you on this day with an issue and an intent to propose a solution. You see, I send this letter from The County of Aldersberg, whereabouts I reside. Of late I have found myself increasingly interested in the finer details of The True Faith. I have slowly, but surely developed an interest to learn more of it. As a result of my growing interest, I have noticed a distinctive and disturbing lack of a priest of any sort present in Aldersberg's Chapel. And so it occurred to me; what if I were to preside over it myself. Not only would it fulfil my recent desire to know more of The True Faith, but also provide a, service to my County, occupying and watching over one of it's fine facilities. Which is why I wish to formally request permission to enter the Clergy as an Acolyte. Endovelicus 613 Share Posted September 25, 2014 A old and thorn letter is delivered by a corier he bows and explains why it took so long to deliver.The letter reads as follows: "Your Holiness, High Pontiff Daniel I, I am a deacon under father Jeramo" The letter is so out dated, that even the person he is under is incorrect. "Greetings Your Holiness, I am Tarcell Othaman of Norrheim and Valles. I wish to serve as an Acolyte under the Church of the Canon should you see fit. LPT 771 Share Posted October 26, 2014 After nearly 30 years of Religious solitude, praying, and keeping alive with nothing but the Creator's will I have decided to return to the church hoping to join as a priest of the faith once more. I wish to do this as I came into an encounter which made my life flash before my eyes. It also struck me as a sign. One of my sons from the time in which I was not chaste has joined the evil nether warriors, the Dread Knights. Upon walking in the forests, gathering food I saw him look to me and tell me who he was, there is no doubt in my mind that was indeed my bastard son and I feel it is my duty to once more spread the word of the creator. Before my solitude I was a priest of the crown lands and I humbly request to become a priest once more of Petrus. My name is Max Greymane and I am 63 years old.
