What we say on the server effects first impressions of new guests to the server, and some people simply don't like it. It doesn't matter to me personally. Words are just words used to describe things without having to make a huge paragraph, but everyone is raised differently. in the end it's about manners I suppose. We finally got that fixed and believe me when I say I hated the constant pop-ups from people cussing. Like Frottimer said we are cracking down on the use of racial slurs, use of the word 'gay word' and all it's counterparts and the use of the word autism as an insult. Along with that the only other words that are censored are genitalia. Although no mod is going to kick you for calling a chicken by it's second name. However, If you are going to argue that you should be allowed to spew off derogatory insults then you have lost all respect in my eyes. Use all the cuss words you want but you will be kicked/banned for playing into OOC prejudice. That isn't the moderating team choosing to baby you all.
