We dont need to resort to banning people for every little offence. Swearing is not a serious thing, but if we want it removed from the server, implement a swear filter, not a big brother plugin and then kick and ban people for saying **** and ****. Just filter them out and replace with the other nonsensical words like every other server that doesn't want their members swearing.

I kinda get it in ooc or whatever, but in PMs and stuff seems a bit over the top. If someone is harassing you with unnecessary swears and won't stop, screenshot it, sign off, and tell a GM.

 

Also getting kicked for saying one word seems a bit much too. I understand the thought behind it, though.

But anyway: As I told my grade 6 playground supervisor, It's not the swear word itself that is offensive, it's the meaning behind it and what/who it is direct to that makes it so. Simply saying f-u-c-k in itself should not be a crime.

As long as important Adunian words like "Feck" "Shite" "Shoite" "Wanker" and similar variations are not censored, everything will be just fine.

Everyone swears, everyone uses vulgar language. Don't see as to why it should be restricted on the server, since most players on this server are above the age of 15. Kids are swearing at the age of 4 now, sayng things like "Ima feck yer mom duude!" n stuff. This is a game, not a workplace. If someone gets out of hand against another person, then that person can simply ban report for harassment or something.

 

All in all, gm's this is a GAME not a WORKPLACE! Chill out, if someone is offended they can report it because most players on here cuss at their friends playfully, nothing serious for you to lay your concerns upon.

​Nothing in the English dictionary is inherently inappropriate. If my character wants to call yours a 'rooster', then I should be able to without getting kicked from the server because of an overbearing parent.
