Wolf Druid Ouity 1461 Share Posted September 15, 2014 Hello, everybody. I am Ouity, the current Event Team Leader, and Global Moderator. But hey, that stuff is boring. I've always been a very firm believer that staff members should do the best they can to interact with members of the community, and so here I am, trying to help anybody who doesn't know me to understand a little about me, my motivations, aspirations, and the things I find joy in. First of all, I am a very avid outdoors man IRL (haha, Druid joke here). I often vanish from the internet for weeks at a time during the summer hiking, camping, and just generally being outside. This year it was a 50 mile canoe trip which was my summer highlight. I am going in for my Eagle Scout board of review pretty soon, which is the top rank of Boy Scouts. I march for my school's band. It's my 4th year in the program, and I plan to minor in musical education in college. There are a lot of cringeworthy bands out there, and I am very fortunate to be part of a very strong band on a budget and skill level. We have ranked among the top bands on the East Coast more than once, and have numerous championship golds in our bracket. I plan to march for the next few years once I graduate High School in a Drum and Bugle Corps called the Cadets, one of the top tier marching programs in the world. Here's an example of a Drum Corps performance, for those of you who don't know much about it. (Also my favorite moments of any show.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8w_YYiHjFs I love, and will always love to tell stories. I've been an avid book reader from a very young age. I could finish a Harry Potter book in less than two days at the age of 11. For me, story telling is one of the strongest traits a person can have. A story will tug at your emotions, make you think hard about life, or introduce you to philosophy, They can teach you lessons, make you blink in surprise. Next to music, I believe that they are one of the strongest ways to convey an idea. Naturally, I was very drawn to the Event Team. A little about LOTC, I suppose. I try, and will always try to be as approachable as humanly possible. In fact, one of the things I have to work on is being too lax with my bans. If you ever want to talk, gripe, rant, rave, anything, I am always available to help you out. That should be about it. If you have any questions, or just want to say hello, feel free.

Wolf Druid Ouity 1461 Author Share Posted September 15, 2014 Are you a druid? Is the sun hot? When will ouity's wife in roleplay stop adopting children D: (i wont stop anyone from doing that though) Never. The orphans are just the next step in Code Green, the Druidic plan for world domination. Why did you pick the name Ouity? Look at your keyboard! It's a nifty pattern I found one day. It was unique- I knew nobody else would ever find it, and it rolled off the tongue very smoothly.

Wolf Druid Ouity 1461 Author Share Posted September 15, 2014 When will father have time for his purple eyed son? :'( What is free time My narcissism senses are tingling! How dare you leave out the part of you being my boopy! Consider yourself in the boopy-timeout corner! Hmph. :( how did you end up with the druids That's actually a pretty long story. My character before the Druids was a member of the United Aegis Coalition (UAC) a force which was essentially the mortal army of the Ascended, tasked with fighting the Undead. Eventually, that group merged with the Alrasian military. I was discouraged by this, and sought something new. A friend introduced me to the Druids, and I quickly fell in love with the guild. The Aegis Grove was gigantic- you could get lost in there for IRL days and never find your way out. On the surface, the Druids are pretty shallow- a little trolly RP here and there, but as you go on through the ranks, you begin to uncover secrets, rites, sects and lore that really blow your mind. The magic leaves so much room for creativity, and the members of the Druids have always been very friendly to newcomers and oldcomers alike. It's also been very fun watching the Druids take shape over the years. You would never guess it from the bunch we have now, but we actually used to do QUITE a lot of raiding. The name "Druidic Order" inspired either fear or rage in a lot of people. It's very likely the oldest guild still existing on the server, and it all started totally in RP. No thread, no advertising, just a crazy old Druid in the elven city by the name of Respiren. All in all, I wouldn't trade the guild for the world. In the words of Respiren himself, "Minecraft is a game about creating and destroying blocks, so I thought to myself 'I should make a guild that takes offence to other people playing the game.'"
