Kalameet sits alone under a tree, feeling the light breeze as he waits in solitude. Hours had past, the blood dried, and soon the pain will subside. However the deeper, and far more real pain will always linger, the torment will never cease.

“For now the Dark is silenced, and risk of losing oneself is gone. Those around me are safe from the Dark within, however at the cost of what I value most…”

Kalameet touches his face, feeling the blindfold which he now dons. He runs his fingers across its silky texture, lightly touching the depressions where his eyes once were.
