"Fellow Dwedmar, sons of Urguan! Please, gat'er around, fer Oi wish tu speak!"

Balek Irongut shouted in the capital square, tapping his staff on the crate he stood on. It was early in the day. Talk and laughter from bartering merchants, labourers and bards filled the streets. It was the Grand Harvest. Sacks of wheat, vegetables and goats lined the walls, ready to be sold off to each and every hungry Dwedmar family around. Food was in abundance, and the sting of the cold mountain air had all but vanished. The people of Urguan knew in their hearts to enjoy this month, for soon enough, their hearths would be their sole source of warmth.

As the words of Balek rung throughout the square, silence soon swept across it, and many dwarves formed a circle around the Clan Father. Carefully eyeing the crowd before him, Balek took a deep breath through his nostrils, feeling the fresh summer air of Kazradin rush through his system. Raising a hand, he begun to speak.

"Dis city, that we call our capital. Kal'Agnar, tha' city ov tha' mountain..."
he uttered, scanning the crowd from left to right. "How long, do yeh 'fink it will stand, against doom incarnate? Tha Ironborn insurrection, n' deir Dark Lord?"

The crowd looked to each other, scratching their heads. Soon they started muttering, until Balek once more held his hand up, with a motion to calm the crowd down. He raises a finger, pointing to the wall guarding the dwarven capital.

"Dese walls can onleh keep out tha darkness fer so long. Tha' Legion is weaker than eveh, n' tha clans 'ave ne'er stood more divoided, nae' since tha days ov tha Clan 'olds!"

"How can we expect to stand against tha' darkness, in eh citeh t'at can bareleh 'old out tha goons ov tha Traitor ov Urguan, Dared Silvehfingeh? Tha treateh moight save us in our toime ov need, but we are 'elpless wit'out it. And when Khorvad, whose hatred ov Dwarves is greateh than aneh ov tha descendant races, sets forth 'is foinal solution? Onleh tha Gods can save us den..."

The dwarven crowd begins to bicker once more, before Balek gently taps his staff on the crate.

"Moi friends n' kin. Dis darkness 'as come tu stay. Do nae' delude yerself tu 'fink t'at dese walls will keep it out. But dere is eh way. Eh path we should've taken long ago. Once tha Ironborn 'ave been driven out of Kazradin, we must return to our roots, as Dwedmar Kind! We are born ov stone, and yet we 'ave forsaken our 'eritage. Made eh capital unwortheh ov being called dwarven. Tha earth is our 'ome, and it be toime we return!"

"Kal'Agnar must be deconstructed, and the inner city renovated. Togetheh, we shall build tha' greatest bastion ov defense against Evil! Eh fortress citeh, built into tha' mountain, wit' eh towering entrance capable ov 'oldin' even tha moightiest ov armies out, if not Khorvad 'imself! 'alls ov stone, glimmering gems adorning the walls, and great, massive pillars crafted by the best ov stonemasons! Dis is tha onleh way we can ensure both our survival, and our roight as tha greatest Kingdom ov Athera!"

Balek Irongut tilts his head, looking down from the crate as he leans on his staff.

"Grand King Fimlin 'as instructed me wit' dis new design, and indeed it be comin' along well. Fer this to work, 'oweveh, Oi require from each and evereh 'un ov yeh, yer utmost support. Togetheh, we shall re-invigorate tha gloreh ov Urguan, and take back our 'eritage which those 'oo would do us 'arm, plan tu destroy! If tha otheh descendants are doomed to fall under tha' wrath ov Khorvad, then let us make him know, that tha Sons ov Urguan are eternal!"

Angus Cairnfist cheers among the crowd. "Aye, foinalleh th' go'ernment be duhin' soomthin'! A Fortress Citeh, worthy o' th' Dwarves! Haha!" He suddenly pauses, his forehead wrinkling. "Bu' wha' aboot th' Mountain an' Forest Dwarves? We do nae desire tae live unnerground for our 'ole loives, e'en if it be our 'ome," he says, thinking aloud. "I be all fer th' citeh if it means our survival, bu' I dun't wan' tae be stuffed in a feckin' 'ole fer th' rest o' me days! Wha' aboot that eh!?"
