[Solved] First-Timer Issue

Hello! So, just today I was accepted and implemented into LotC! Yay! Earlier this morning, after being accepted, but not implemented, I logged on to the server and had the usual Nexus paper with all those tools and such. I logged off a few minutes later, as I couldn't do any actual roleplaying.

 

Fast forward a few hours, and I've been implemented. I log on the server and I have my Nexus paper. However, I notice that my FoV is incredibly small, and I have several debuffs, them being Slowness and Weakness. These negate me from being able to walk with my WASD, so I hop around to move. I think that this might be because I haven't yet set up my persona, so I navigate through my Nexus paper to the "persona" menu, and click it. Not much happens, so I close out of it. Thoroughly confused, I see the "Poll of Death", and hoping to solve this issue, I hop into it.

 

I'm later spat back out at the usual spawn place, but no Nexus paper is to be found. Instead, I have this mysterious "soulstone". This confused me even more, to the point where I tried, again, to kill myself. Nothing changed. I then re-logged, and had the same debuffs as before, but with no Nexus paper. Just a soulstone.

 

This led me to believe I had been experiencing some sort of bug, maybe because I logged in before without being implemented, or maybe I'm just dumb and shouldn't have went swimming in the Pool of Death.

 

Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Also, I didn't use the bug report format because I didn't think I'd be able to get my issues across with it. I can have a got at it if I need to, though. Just thought this would be easier.

You need to use the command /register to get your character card started in the game. Once you put in all the info, the debuffs should stop and you should be able to go about your business.

Try entering /me to fetch your nexus paper back
