How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I googled "RP Server minecraft".

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is playing a role within a set environment where you may interact with other characters, pursuing your character's goal and living his/her life.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using information you obtain out of character and using it in character, like finding out someone's character name in the chat bar and instantly referring them as that.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is doing an action without the other player's consent, like shaking their hand, or doing something out of your character's ability. Powergaming can be performing a master level spell when you're dirt terrible, or having incredible stamina on your first day of training. It is going beyond reasoning.

 

In-Character Information

 

Character’s name: Aedran Salazar

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

 

Aedran was born only a few years after the entry of Athera. His father was fond of telling him stories of the Fringe, a desolate land that was bountiful in the beginning, but served as a cage to torture it's individuals. He fancied telling Aedran stories of him as a young smuggler, his father as a front line man in the ongoing conflicts within the Human Empire. That served as a basis for the young boy. Wary and educated of humanity's bloody conflicts, he observed from afar and took a peculiar stance on war in general. The more he learned of humanity's past, the more cautious and suspicious he became of befriending anyone associated to them, creating a cocoon. 

 

Aedran was taken all across Athera on business trips, for his father had nowhere else to place the boy. He'd spend afternoons by himself by road-side taverns and libraries, absorbing the knowledge from within. As he grew older, the trips grew more frequent. The more Aedran inquired, the more protective his father became. He was fiercely adamant on shielding his son from the supposed horrors of the outside world. This drew the two more often to the Orc lands, where live lived a primative and simple style. Aedran preferred to keep his distance from intimidating Uruks, and spent much of his time among the dunes that were not occupied by Orcs. And as he isolated himself, a burning curiosity coarsed throughout Aedran, thinking of the things he refused to ever ponder on. His cocoon began to crack.

 

Finally, he urged his father to sit down and discuss. There, Aedran let his questions flow. What ever happened to his mother? Is humanity that evil, just for being in wars? Why are they always constantly moving, and why is his father so protective? His father broke down, giving an answer to every question. He had lived a dangerous life in his youth, and seen horrible things he would never wish Aedran would see. He wanted to protect Aedran, but knew someday he had to take his own path, hopefully not as a cactus green dealer. His mother was unfaithful, and that was the end of that. This had satisfied Aedran, and he was presented with the offer to leave and explore the world. Aedran took that offer, and never looked back.

 

Personality Traits: Aedran is most of the time reserved, and thinks heavily before he speaks. In times of anger, though few, he is quick to lose his quiet nature and lash out against others. He is naturally cautious of people, however warm once acquainted. 

Ambitions: Aedran wishes to seek out the world in it's true color, all bias pushed to the side. On a physical level, he wants to be successful and have all basic needs satisfied, but on a mental and spiritual level, a hunger for knowledge ravages him. 

Strengths/Talents: Aedran is a deep thinker and strategic. While he is a tad nimble, it does not compensate for his lackluster physical skills against one another. Because of his life on the road, he is hardy to the elements and receptive to new faces. 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Aedran is no fighter, and although me may have potential, as of now he stands little chance in a duel. He over-analyzes things to an annoying degree because of the way he was raised, where everything might pose a danger. Aedran is a simple young man who is oblivious to the outside world.

 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Aedran stands at a lean 6'0, wearing mostly tattered brown robes to shield himself from the elements, with a lighter brown tan leather garments, held tight with a utility belt.  He has deep set light brown eyes, with stark black hair that flows to the top tips of his ears. His facial hair extends a fully visible beard, but clean shaven and not bushy.
