What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of assuming a role by immersing yourself in a imaginary world and living the life of a character in this world.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of applying information that you know out-of-character to your character. An example would be having your friends show up to help you when you are being mugged.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is forcing the actions of another player when you are roleplaying. Rolan stabs bill with this sword, Bill would fall to the ground and die/ Rolan throws a rock at Ugruk the orc, the rock hits Ugruk in the head and he is knocked unconcious.

Character’s name: Rolan

Character’s age: 370 years old

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Rolan’s father was a military man serving in the Urguanian Legion in Fringe. He used his experiences in the battles of the fringe to teach his son the art of war. Rolan learned the hard way often by watching the older dwarves fight off the humans, it was here that he learned how to operate a crossbow and most importantly of all how to trashtalk. He became close friends with another young dwarf during his time in the fringe wars as they would often fight together in the skirmishes. Rolan’s father died during the war, he was shot in the leg with an arrow that became gangrenous resulting in his death.

Rolan spent much time on ships as he fled from Fringe during it’s fall it is here he developed his love of fist fighting. As the other dwarves were oft drunk on the voyage across the sea drunken brawls would often result. Unfortunately on the crossing from Thales to Athera Rolan’s friend fell overboard during a very strong storm and was lost at sea. Rolan keeps pictures of his father and friend in a locket that he carries with him at all times. During the undead attacks on the dwarven capital Rolan fled to live in Hiebenhall. He’s now returning to Kal'Karaad to start his adventure.

Personality Traits: Cunning, Smart,

Ambitions: Rolan wants to become a strong warrior so that he can carry on the legacy of his father.

Strengths/Talents: Crossbow, Longsword, Flexibility, Trashtalk, Comebacks, and Fist fights

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not very fast, Talking about his dad(cause he passed away) and his military buddy, likes drinking beer to much, is self conscious about his beard.

Please fix the following problems within the application within 24 hours: 

 

• Your character needs more weaknesss compared to the amount of strengths he is given.
• The screen shot is of a human, your characters skin needs to be fantasy themed/Look like a Dwarf which includes a beard. (The Dwarf skin you have updated is one of the blacklisted skins, please choose another)
• Not Required: 50 is young for a Dwarf, as an example Dwarves live until arond 800 before dying of old age. 50 Would be the equivalent of around a 20 year old. (You stated usually older?)
• The formatting for the application is very hard to read

 

Otherwise just a few spelling errors (Kal'Karaad, Urguanian) , a very good application for your first try, just needs some minor edits. If you have any questions feel free to send me a PM.
