Urara's Characters Need New Homes

Once upon a time, there was a human noblewoman and a dwarf tailor.

The human noblewoman was the descendant of a Prophet - his granddaughter, in fact - but she was impoverished and couldn't afford to pay the taxes on her home in Petrus. So she was forced to pack up her things and seek new shelter.

The dwarf tailor woke up one morning to find that the fragrant-smelling Druid Grove next to her shop had met a horrible, fiery end. Walking past a burning, ashy hell hole every day isn't good for your health OR business. So the dwarf, who was MUCH richer than the impoverished noblewoman, decided that she needed a new shop.

Now they are basically both homeless and need a new place to hang out. Both are friendly, pleasant women in my opinion and would be a good addition to any RP communities! But I am at an impasse because I don't know where either of them could go. Petrus is expensive! Karovia might possibly catch on fire any day now! And plus the ashy ruin of the Druid Grove is very ugly and I don't want to look at it!

So if you have an RP town that has an active playerbase and you could stand to accomodate one - or two! - more characters, please let me know! Oh, and also has reasonable taxes because I am not made of minas!

I'll just list a few places I can think of, though I don't own them. The only places I own are a castle in the middle of nowhere where I live and house a massive map, and a sickly fortress in the middle of a swamp that's corrupted by dark arts, used to be the home of necromancy, and is now empty bar the putrid fumes that constantly drift over the place. Neither are really that suitable (Unless you wanna live with me and only me ;p).

These are all active towns, not going to bother listing small stores or manors or houses on the main road;

-Avalon

-Leyulin (This place is in the middle of a war though, so).

-Leuuvarden (Not sure about taxes there).

-Werdenberg (Not sure about taxes there either).

Savoy holds to it an active playerbase of humans, most of which you know. (Olivier de Savoie, for example, or Ser William.) Leuvaarden and the other Savoyard settlements are always looking for more role-players to visit/stay.

My own knightly chapter RPs quite often, and could use some more company around. We merely relax in a countryside chapterhouse, as it stands.

I would advise you drop by and take a look.

Werdenberg is taxfree on that notice. We are a humble town with an active community in the South-east. It's not too far from Petrus and other locations, we have plenty of farming area and I suppose it's a good place to stick around.

Dwarven women are always welcome in actual dwarven society. I really think you should join us, seeing that we have no dwarven women. You'll probably be free of tax or something in Karaad if you play your cards right.

That's an option for Miss Sofie, but not for Lorina. I'll look into it, though.

Yes, but my worry is being relentlessly pursued by lonely Dwarven men. The purpose of Sofie's character is to be a clothing merchant, not someone's wife. And you can only reject people a certain number of times before it becomes annoying.

So if I could join dwarf society and remain a happy bachelorette, that'd be cool.

Don't do it, the men go crazy when they see a dwarven woman. Stay as far away from Urguan as possible.

H-Haelun'or. We liked our Urara.

We had Urara for a bit... Then she left. We liked Urara, come back.

The new regions are said to be released this weekend. Me and my group are prepped with region pillars, and hope to claim any fairly central large regions. We have been planning to create a small group of estates and shop spaces for a safe, cheap, multi-racial community. I will keep you updated if interested in such.

Why not get an area in the Cloud Temple? I'm sure a Monk could set you up.

Atleast that way , you can remain single and totally neutral.

Wow, I'm flattered. You made that for me?

I may have to seriously consider giving dwarf RP a chance then.
