Is anyone able to suggest any magics in which one can ask questions about the past? I've ruled out a Farseer or Moon Magic, as they are both either Hard or unable to be obtained by a High Elf.

I was thinking druidism, by connecting to nature, however I seek answers to questions that lie within Asulon.

Hard to obtain? Oh boy, you might be in for something called roleplay.

For Non-Kharajyr, Muun'trivazja would be impossible, but for Shamanism, it could be possible. Optionally, if you're looking for a way to find your past, you could find a mental mage and see if they can break down whatever barriers are blocking your mind or whatever. I can't pretend to know anything about mental magic, nor what exactly you're trying to recall.

Hard to obtain, as in. When you try to ask for the orcs to teach you to become a farseer, you get sacrificed.

Try not to double post: instead, use the Edit function, found at the bottom right of each.

Well, i guess my only options now are either trying druidism, as said "Nobody knows the full extent to their power" or talk to a Mental mage.

Generally, I've found it to be more entertaining to discover these things on my own in game. You could certainly seek out one who knows Muun'trivazja, or Druidism, or mental magic, and ask them for guidance. Regardless of whether or not they can help, it's still interesting.

Bring tribute and your chances of survival increase. Also remember to be respectful and perhaps just imply that you want to become a shaman instead of flat out saying it, then again I haven't played a shaman but I do know orcish society.

Ask someone from Asulon?

^ Or simply ask someone who knows the history. There are many players whose ancestors were present in Asulon. There are also people who are almost historical scholars in character. I'm pretty sure whatever you are looking to find out about Asulon can be gained by asking around. If you do want to try to do it by magical means, which is a bit more complicated, the go for it.

Yeah dude, like what Jonhan2 said, bring tributes and make yourself submissive unless challenged or asked to fight then you assert dominance or show strength. Tribute and overly complimenting Uruks also help. Then say you want to help the spirits, great way of making friends. That's basically it.

It has been ruled before that only deities can see beyond this day. And even then, most of them can't. So literally the ones that you said aren't really an option ARE your only option.

Alternately you can provide your own ways. Elindor has a great intuition and uses cognitism to map out paths that certain people and events take, and in doing so attempts to read the future. He has since developed parkinsons disease as a result of trying to push this to the extreme. He entered a state of revelation to try and see beyond tomorrow and get a clearer view of what was to come, but no mortal mind is capable of escaping a singular perspective and his revelation caved in on itself just as he arrived at the cusp of seeing the future.

There is always ways of doing things if you know canon lore and are willing to tell a story that might cost you and in the end amount to nought.

In the past whenever someone has needed to know things that are coming up (if they're a GM that is) they just claim that a deity spoke to them or something. Though that is always the far more boring option than getting Thurak to take you on a journey through the Spirit Realm
