This would be the stupidest way to shoot, ever. These are parlor tricks meant to entertain and look fancy and are in no way practical in a fight. You might pull it off once, then the next time you would die because you don't keep a bow strung all the time and if you're ambushed in close quarters, no time to draw.

 

If you're aware of the enemy then why would you run up to them to shoot them with a low powered arrow with barely any draw weight when you could sit back and take your time.

Strange how the bow in question is changed and the speed at which he fires also does. Additionally, it doesn't look like the chain links are being compromised. It wouldn't be deadly at all, heck it would leave a small cut and thats it.
