A letter is written to King Olivier of Oren and his council, open for all to read.

To the most belov'd King Olivier,

---

MOTHER ! doth not weep

when thou look upon the po'r boys in the street,

they fair better than those children who lay in the Orcish heep

shackl'd and imprison'd against their will

prepar'd to be sold to the man upon the high-hill !

---

Hark, mine dearest King! I plead to thou! I beg! Within this past year 'r so, the enslavement of fellow humans hath increas'd ten-fold; dozens upon dozens of unlucky ladies taken in this very month. The scourge of God and our good Canon Church, the Orcish devils and scullions, hast begun to prey upon the tragic traveler of Orenian land, taking them as hostage and bringing them back to their hideous encampment they clepe home, the Trog, which dost not yea hast the quality of living to accommodate Iblees himself! The diabolical ogres, those hooligans, those abominable beings, spare no-one to fuel their greedy business. I've counted-- nay, I cannot yea count!-- so many po'r young lasses, eager to make their way to our glorious Oren, be stopp'd upon the road by a brutish, slaughterhouse-smelling thug with a horrifying "lat!" and be taken aroint promptly after. So disgust'd am I by this, that I cannot help but hurl at the thought of those po'r girls being sold off to the highest buyer!

I hast seen time and time again, gentle Orenian soldiers, pass by these slavery encampments in pursuit of the Dunanimas foe, ignoring the closer, nearby threat, the Orcish hooligan. within our very borders, a tent lays open f'r the Ogre fellows to buy and sell their captives, and to capture them just on the road outside!

The Orcish slave-trade hinders trade, public relations, relation with God, travel, and public travel in the land of Oren.

AND SO WE DEMAND:

  1. AN IMMEDIATE PUBLISHING OF A DECREE DECLARING ALL SORTS OF SLAVERY, ENWHEELING SLAVE-TRADE, ILLEGAL.
  2. AN IMMEDIATE WARNING TO THE ORCISH NATION TO CEASE ALL SLAVE-TRADE WITHIN ORENIAN BORDERS 'R THE BORDERS OF HER DEPENDENCIES.
  3. A CAPTURE OF THE HOUSE OF IBLEES HIMSELF, THE DAMN'D ORCISH TENT OWNED BY SAID "NAGG", WHICH LAYS JUST BESIDES THE BRIDGE CONNECTING HAELUN'OR AND PETRUS.
  4. AN IMMEDIATE WARNING TO THE ORCISH NATION TO CEASE ENSLAVEMENT OF ALL HUMANKIND, NO MATTER GENDER OR AGE.

Sincerely,

Theodosius and supporters

Arik Vanir reads over the letter, scratching his beard. Besides him, Franz nods. He looks to his friend, before speaking.

"This man, he is smart. We will be speaking about this at tonight's privy meeting, Ai?"

The men resolve protect their people.

"Burn 'em", says Marvin approvingly.

Hu-din smacks Marvin before chewing him out. "Uf latz nub wunt latz pinkehz uz znaggaz, dun puy zkahung trubut. Dat uz huw da uthar nutunz du ut."
