What is your Minecraft Account Name?:

Answer: Dovee

What is your in-game Character Name?:

Answer: Siegfried LaValétte

What is your Character’s Race?:

Answer: Human.

Have you read and familiarized with all server rules and the villain rules?:

Answer: Yeah.

Links to any previous villain applications (for reference, these can be from previous characters, or previously denied applications to show how you’ve improved):

Answer: Not available.

What VA are you applying for? (Lesser Evils, Greater Evils [Greater includes Lesser by default, you don't need two applications if you apply for greater first]):

Lesser Evils:

Theft Theft is a task that Siegfried LaValétte commonly must perform at times when retrieving physical information, or advantage in any given situation. Though the task itself is wrong, his intentions behind performing the 'evil' commonly revolves around his perception of a greater good, something that will benefit those around him. If not for the greater good, his own occasional self-profit.

Pickpocketing - Similar to plain and simple theft, Siegfried LaValétte at times must reluctantly place himself in an unforgiving situation, where he must approach a target to retrieve physical information. He will not put himself in such a situation for self-profit, unless the item of interest contains high value, or his pockets are light of coin.

Lockpicking - This skill is essential for the functioning of several of the other Lesser Evils, and for the common good - for at times it may be a brighter alternative to approach his destination from another route requiring him to lockpick, whether it's to avoid detection or simply a quicker process to escape/enter combat. This ability is also convenient for Siegfried LaValétte in gaining a vantage point with his crossbow to provide cover to his allies, or to gain a better view to land a shot on a target. Lockpicking will also assist Siegfried LaValétte with being the 'hero' of a situation, for example an hostage situation where an ally is restrained against their own will by another villain.

Jailbreaking - Unfortunately, no one is perfect, and at times this applies to following the plan. An individual must face obstacles, sometimes far more challenging than first anticipated - Siegfried LaValétte is not an exception. During misunderstandings, otherwise, being locked away for a drunken brawl the brute may not have the time to rot in a cell, especially if the sentence is long-term, though Siegfried LaValétte would wait out his sentence.

Murder with Provocation - The monster hunter at times may be approached with a heated situation where the opposition is violent, and persistent with their actions. An example when he is in a drunkard brawl, and the hazard finds themselves equipped with a weapon and intent with causing harm, another tier of force may be required to subdue the target, especially if his own life is in danger. Another occasion where he may require this evil is when a fatality is inevitable, and originally was not part of his plan, for example if his target bleeds out.

Conning/Cheating - Conning/Cheating is in action during transactions, mostly regarding items. At times, Siegfried LaValétte may have to trade a life with coin, such as a situation where an ally is held as a human shield. Siegfried LaValétte, whilst desperate may require to 'exaggerate' what he is willing to give to sate the hostile's conscious. Otherwise, he may require this evil for general use in the market place, handing a few less mina than required in a pouch.

Greater Evils:

Torture - This is not a commonly used evil, but it will be required during interrogations where an individual is proving to be uncooperative. This is a more gnarly alternative to thievery and pickpocketing, where the information he needs is within the mind of a breather. Despite the gruesome ordeal, he does not intend to kill at the end of the day.

Murder without Provocation - Arguably, it may be for the greater good to act before a greater evil is committed. This is what Siegfried LaValétte believes. The code he is bound to by oath states that is allowed to kill those who do not pay for his services when required. Rarely, he is placed in the unfortunate position where he holds a prediction with high probability, and is required to determine with how to respond. Siegfried LaValétte is a responsible individual, and trusted enough to find himself in positions where he is the bodyguard of an important figure, it is his priority to safeguard a valued individual of interest's life. Continuous suspicious acts will catch his eye, though he will not act without providing several verbal warnings, where the individual of suspicion does not cooperate. (Keep in mind, this will not be a common evil used, a rarity.)

Why is your character the way he/she is?  What has led them to a path requiring a Villain Application?:

Answer: The former soldier, now professional monster hunter lives an unforgiving lifestyle, constantly volunteering to place himself in the face of grave danger to protect the innocent, and the meek according to his sworn oath to the Marked Men. No idol is without a flaw, and certainly not a man - corruption of the heart will taint even the strongest, and Siegfried LaValétte is not an exception in this realm, where mina is a priority and fame an even greater desire, especially when your main intention is to have your name scribed in the books, and sung by a bard.

As for now, the ambitious Siegfried LaValétte must involve himself in tasks gruesome and honorable whilst trying to be the best man he can truly be, faced with common psychological struggles such as greed, depression and anxiety. Arguably, he may be listed as a mercenary who works for the coin and the fame.

What are his/her motives?  What do you plan to gain from this?:

Answer: Siegfried LaValétte holds simple goals, but his strong will forces him to go to  far extents to achieve them, constantly faced with the decision whether to abide his oaths and commonplace morals, or to benefit himself. Such is the life of one of peasantry heritage, except Siegfried LaValétte is a professional monster hunter, and a constantly hired escort guard.

What moral boundaries does your character have, if any?:

Answer: Siegfried LaValétte is sworn to abide oaths, and codes of conduct throughout his lifestyle as both a professional monster hunter and a bodyguard. He holds the same moral boundaries as most common men, with minor traits labeling him as a bandit such as killing and torture, though mostly he is a strong-willed, ambitious man who does not accept bribes, for he knows the consequences are not worth it.

What general kind of Villain will you be? (Bandit, Pirate, Raider, Madman, Cultist, Antihero, Destroyer Of Worlds, etc etc…):

Answer: Siegfried LaValétte will revolve around a mixture of an anti-hero with a hint of banditry in some aspects. He is mostly a truthful individual that at times befalls under the temptations of common life, and is ambitious. He mainly does not intend to cause harm to get the job done, but at times force is required which may lead to death. Essentially, he is the healthy balance of a protagonist and a twisted, malicious force constantly being pulled around in a game of tug-o-war

Had to make a second post because my original submission was apparently too long.

Open Response - Answer at least two of the open ended scenarios below. Do not powergame, metagame, or do anything else rulebreaking or unrealistic. Each scenario is designed with no particular objective in mind and is open ended deliberately. Assume your character is in each position, regardless of their normal situations:

-An elderly man with a walking stick(possibly a staff), a middle aged woman in a flowing dress, and a teenage boy with a sword hanging on his belt are walking down the road, with no others in sight that you can tell...

Answer: Under the luminous moonlight in the city of Al-Dirahk, a lone human brute finds himself seated at a ligneous round table, intentionally seated in such a manner where he'd be facing the entrance, and windows. Gentle footsteps would ring in his ears, causing him to glance up from his tankard, eyeing a passing family.

His top-row of his teeth would find themselves digging into the side of his lower lip as he'd flick his cobalt hues behind them, where a skeptical, shrouded ectomorphic figure would trail meters behind them, making an exaggerated effort to slip behind every obstacle and corner before dipping their head out.

At first, Siegfried LaValétte believed it was simply a light-hearted prank, for the city has evidently been filled with nothing but good-spirits with morals. He returned to staring at the content within the mug, exhaling from the corner of his lip. It was then when a wail from a damsel in distress rung into his ears.

The monster hunter promptly kicked up onto his feet. He fell into a short sprint to the entrance, scanning his narrowed eyes on both sides in search, it was then in his peripheral he spotted a bloodied woman propped against the wall, accompanied by a young lad. On the ground laid a dying, aged man- he also took notice that the deceased's staff was missing.

Siegfried would release a grunt as he'd stare forth at the firewood stacked against the wall- he'd suddenly burst into yet another short sprint, prior to propelling himself onto the lumber, clambering up the wall. Siegfried's eyes widen thrice in size as he noticed the adrenaline kicking in, finding himself atop the rooftop of a building. He'd continue to charge forward towards the other side of the roof, vaulting over the ledge.

During his moment in mid-air, he took notice of the same, familiar figure rushing through an alley to his left on ground level. The monster hunter would land nimbly in a crouched position before picking himself up. Unfortunately for him, the household owner had the doors closed, prohibiting him access and requiring him to kick it down, as he continued to pass through he heard the angered cursing of a Qalasheen citizen.

As he closed in to yet another exit, identical to the same balcony he landed upon, however, with itss doors open he took a moment to stop and spot the murderer. What remained of his brow furrowed as the figure did not pass through as he anticipated, he cursed beneath his breath before deciding to hop down, landing in a rolling position.

Defeated, he decided to backtrack where he believed the murderer could've passed, brushing through the crowd of citizens, his eyes searched desperately. It was to his surprise, the damned murderer had stopped to sell the staff to an arms dealer, what an idiot.

Siegfried LaValétte did not waste a moment further, by now he was shoving through the citizens without any intention of apologising, he was focused singularly on the task at hand, and how he wanted to wrap his hands around the fiend. The brute instantly lashed out his armoured gauntlet for the back of the figure's head, slamming it downwards upon the bench.

As Siegfried trailed his eyes on the collapsing figure, he took notice of the horrified expression of the female, Qalasheen merchant. He'd let off an apologetic murmur before retrieving the staff, and fixing the unconscious bastard over his shoulder. He continued to pace back towards the Hook'ah Lounge, where by now several of the local Mubarizun guards circled the crime scene.

-You are about to head out of your house when someone starts pounding on your door frantically.  You open the door to see a human woman, dress half torn, a gash across her cheek bleeding, fear in her eyes as she begs you for help. Someone has just attacked her and her sister, killing the sister, and the girl barely getting away and losing him...

The city of Al-Dirahk was sound asleep as the radiant stars and moonlight glistened, shining upon the sandstone bricks of the walls, yet Siegfried LaValétte laid awake beneath his sheets as his calloused palm gently cupped and release the back of his neck as an attempt to soothe the strain. Sweat beaded down both the sides of his face and his bare, broad chest as he continued to ponder through his thoughts, his sapphire eyes rested upon his dull ceiling, noticing cracks he had never noticed.

Fed up, he decided to get out of bed. He approached towards the counter where a forgotten mug of left-over ale resided, his rough hands clutching at it before taking a sip. He'd continue with a stroll towards an opening to get some fresh air. He'd peer downwards as he'd realise he accidentally spilt some mead onto his tanned brown trousers, forming a damp stain atop his left knee.

He'd grumpily waddle over to the same counter earlier on to recieve a towel, slamming the tankard down- as soon as he did so, he thought he heard knocking. He instantly stopped all of his actions, even his breathing as he listened in. There it was again, a light, yet quickened knocking.

Siegfried's lips would curl as he'd approach the door, his left hand reaching for his sheathed, ferrum dagger as a precaution after falling witness to the murder several nights before. He'd plant his vacant plam would engulf the door handle, wincing slightly as it'd be cold to touch. He'd open the door, his mouth hanging slightly agap at the sight of a bloodied farfolk woman in tears,

Farfolk Woman: "H-Help.. me. Th- *sob* They killed Miranda! They killed my sister!"

Siegfried LaValétte: "Who? Who killed your sister?"

Farfolk Woman: "Mercenaries from the north! Please, let me in and I'll explain the rest."

Siegfried LaValétte wasn't about to buy the wench's story, but seeing as she was bleeding out and the fact the elderly couple who lived across him were staring, he decided to welcome her in with a gesture towards his dining room,

Siegfried LaValétte: "Get inside, and take a seat. I'll get some bandages."

Farfolk Woman: "Thank you.."

-Sitting in a bakery, you hear two men talking in hushed voices upstairs. Sneaking up the stairs, you see a figure robed in black and a Guard. The robed figure is revealing plans to the Guard about an upcoming rebellion.  You can’t tell if the robed man is betraying the rebels, or if it is the Guard betraying the town...

I've taken the liberty to skip this roleplay scenario.

-There is a knocking on your door, and when you open it there is an angry-looking man standing there, and a Olog standing behind him, eyeing you coldly.  The man tells you that you owe 1000 minas in taxes to the local Royals, and had best pay up...

Mercedes Yorsun was sound asleep, enveloped by the sheets, and most importantly safe.

It's been two days since he'd met the farfolk woman, Mercedes Yorsun. Siegfried LaValétte no longer held her in suspicion, despite her beauty being equivalent to a succubus in it's prime, he thought over how he'd change his mindset after such a short period of time, downing each thought with a mouthful of ale as he sat meters away, admiring his sleeping beauty.

The brute's shoulders tensed as he recalled what she'd told him, about how her family owed money to the Northern Kingdoms, and they'd issued mercenaries for her head. He felt a cold distinct feeling run down his spine as he imagined what would've happened to Mercedes, should he have left her outside.

As he came to the bottom of his mug, the all too familiar knocking of the door caught his attention. He stood himself slowly, spontaneously snatching at the hilt of the ferrum dagger dug into the wooden table. He'd approach the door, concealing the blade behind his back.

A northerner stood upright, his visage filled with anger as he'd shoulder Siegfried to gaze around in suspicion as his pet Olog remained outside, glaring downwards. The intruder spoke as he continued to speak,

Northerner: "The Caliph is collecting tax. You need to pay up."

Siegfried would stare at the ground blankly, knowing full well that he paid the Caliph with his services as a soldier, and bodyguard. An obvious lie, otherwise a misunderstanding.. he remained silent and observed the Northerner.

The daft fool finally spotted the sleeping Mercedes, his right hand clutching at his blade. It was at this point Siegfried knew he had encountered the mercenaries. LaValétte would hurriedly pace forward, proceeding to drive his dagger into the back of the northerner's neck.

It was easier than he would've thought, that was until he remembered about the Olog who'd proceeded to charge in his direction. Siegfried's eyes would widen as he'd outreach for a ligneous chair with his bloodied palms, proceeding to hurl a chair in the beast's direction.

The Olog would be phased by the blow, his pace slowing down. Siegfried would begin to pace backwards towards Mercedes, doubling over to retrieve the Northerner's shortsword in the process. The Olog would dumbfoundedly form a grin before moving his green, meaty arms over his shoulders to arm himself with his warhammer.

By now, the beauty would've awoken, clutching against the back of Siegfried's figure. He'd gesture his blade in the direction of the Olog who'd easily swatted it away with a fearsome blow from his warhammer, Siegfried would hear the panting of Mercedes underneath the beast's chortling.

LaValétte's eyes would narrow as he'd remember Mercedes was still wounded, he'd reel himself aboutface to scoop her up into his muscular arms before proceeding to pace along the room, trying his best to create distance. The Olog would oddly continue to chuckle before smashing at the table LaValétte had sat on earlier.

Siegfried LaValéétte would turn his physique about, taking the blow. He'd dropped Mercedes onto the counter as he'd tumble beneath the table. A pained groan would escape from his lips as he'd murmur to his love,

Siegfried LaValéétte: "Run."

Mercedes would have little choice, and nodded. She vaulted over the opening, running far away to call for help. Siegfried would slowly heave himself up, his vision blurred as he'd find himself unstable on his feet, deciding to balance himself on the wall. He armed himself with a wooden stool which managed to save his life barely from an incoming blow from the Olog.

Once again, Siegfried would tumble onto his side, defeated. Atleast that was going on in his head, that was until he grabbed a neighbouring, sharpened piece of lumber which was once part of his table. By now, the Olog would've picked up Siegfried from the throat before tossing him into the once organized bookcase.

The Olog struggled through the mess, stomping it's way towards the direction of the beaten up monster hunter, the only issue was the room was now filled with dust, limiting the beast's vision. Suddenly- Siegfried lunged out, stake in hand.

The Olog swung his warhammer at first contact, however, Siegfried was too quick. He managed to spear tackle into the Olog, almost nearly enough manpower to make him lose balance. Luck was on Siegfried's side as the beast tripped over the table earlier, having to set itself up for disaster.

Siegfried would quickly take vantage of the situation to establish himself atop the beast on a full-mount position, raining down a flurry of blows from the stake aimed at the beast's face-neck region. By the end of the oredeal, Siegfried was bloodied with a mixture of both his own and the Orc.

-Two Guards are trying to break up a fight between your acquaintance and two Humans. Your friend slays one of the Guards as he approaches, causing the other Guard as well as the Humans to pull out their weapons...

I've taken the liberty to skip this roleplay scenario.
