[Ooc] New Town, Help Needed

Hi there, I am thinking of making a town, but I can't do it alone. I need people to help me run it and someone with a region pillar,or the skills and resources to make one. Anyone who helps will get high ranks in the town. I also need advice on where there is unclaimed land to build it. Thanks for any help.

You should try to do these things in character rather then OOC recruitment.

 

On another note, I'd advise against running a town when you're so new. It's pretty difficult. I'd suggest joining one even for a while to get used to it.

Agreed, most people just try to make towns when they are new, and not only does it rarely work out, but we already have enough towns.

FYI, new towns always have a target painted on their back. Larger nations are more than happy to eliminate small groups of present folk.

In seriousness though, the last thing needed is for more independent towns, or towns in general. Most of the population in LotC that joins is inducted into one almost immediately as it is. I'm surprised you weren't among them.

There are quite a few active ones, and each follows a specific culture, ideaology, government, and ambition. Each with their own standing. Start from scratch and figure them all out, /then/ find somewhere to settle down. You'll probably like your end result more.
