I dont get this because.

 

A: I don't know how someone could use thair role to get to places when you otherwise couldn't

 

B: why wouldn't that person (role) use there abilitys to access places when thay can?

when a character has a certain job purpose in a community/game

What is metagaming?:

When a player uses the knowledge about other characters and events etc, in game that were learnt out of game, to their advantage.

What is powergaming?

When a Player uses Knowledge of RP to gain power, despite the Role he is in, resulting in a character too powerful and unrealistic, ruining the gameplay.

e.g: if theres a charicter minding there own buisness, then one should say "I stab you in the back" and thay should reply realisticly "I get stabbed in the back" not "ha! I magicly fly away" just because thay dont want to die

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Born and raised by a lowly farmer in the high rising walls of Petrus, Macen always had a curiosity about him as a young boy, and would often go out exploring, in his own little adventures beyond the city’s stonewalls without his hardworking single fathers knowledge.

 

At ten years old, Macens father fell into poverty due to the War Between the Kingdom of Oren and the Silver Enclave of Haelun'or. Instead of farming, his green thumbed elder was forced to use a homemade bow to hunt for food. But unfortunately his hands were wrinkly and bones frail, when his splinted hands and weary arms could draw no more, Macen was the one hunting the arid and war ripped landscapes of Oren to keep himself and his farther alive, until his demise.

 

But in the tragedy sparked a part of his childhood that hid in the shadows through the dark times, the boys curiosity came back to him like a hurricane, on the night he found his farther would not awake again. When hunting in the low forests and high mountains of Athera, Macons would commonly venture into caves and castles, blindly, in search for another adventure.

Weathered, unsanitary, if not for the freshly shaven beard he would be a dwarf however he is till commonly mistaken for one.

To answer your question regarding the use of roleplay to access areas not accessible through Minecraft mechanics I will state an example to help put it into perspective for your to better understand. An example would be a house with a fireplace with a vent. This vent in itself was only blocked off by a stair leaving a quarter of the block gap from the outside hatch of the roof and the living room. The person trying to break into that particular house could not use that vent as an entry point because there is not enough clearance for them to do it mechanically. Now onto the needed fixes to your application.
