That would be excellent. I already have a story in mind for the first large production. The problem right now is the cash! I really need to open and get the cash flowing before I start the large plays.

Would a sack of gold coins be enough to fund your first play? (5000 minas)

*eyes turn into dollar signs*

Y-y-yes. More than enough. Once I can get the place open and let people know it exists, I will do the first show.

I'll also pay 3k to open a shop that sells transcriptions of the plays to the public, if you think that's a good idea. A library of plays, if you will.

Also, I and a few of my relatives are skilled musicians. I've played the lyre for quite some time. If you wish to have a pit at your big theater, do ask us to play.

You and your relatives could perform in the small stage area. You would be payed. There isn't all that much music needed in the large plays, and I doubt how well a musical would work.

You could also do performance nights for musicians ((If we ever get a client mod, or if you can make a buttload of note blocks for musicals))

Also, perhaps a comedy night or two?

That would be less of a selling plays in the form of books, and more of a script shop. If other folks wanted to open a theatre that would be a great resource for them.

((too many posts too quickly! can't even respond to one before another shows up!)) The theatre is already made for that ((not the buttload of note blocks, just rp music)) It is split into a Large theatre for big productions and a small low-key theatre for small performances such as musicians and comedians

I think you should allow bands or musical groups to rent the theatre to set up note-blocks to play their music. It's more effective than RP'ing!))

Check the thread "US holiday, and LOTC is down" in the support forums, i posted about what the problems are.

What about setting up noteblocks with every single sound, and the musicians would have to play them and create a song.

You'd have to run a mile for each one you wanted.

Unless you had a setup for a lute player, flutist, piano player etc. and each band player took one setup.

I think I can solve that. Just use one octave or set of notes. There's no need to have every single note laid out. That way, whatever key the song is in, all the members have the right notes, and it won't take up the entire stage for one instrument.
