Why don't you have a New Harlem style amateur's night fundraiser? People pay a small amount to get in, and if they like the show, they will donate more to the theater. You will gain funds and interest in your program. You could even make it a diner party, and serve the guests a fair sized diner. You need to have auditions and line up a couple of performers, or you could do a play. If you ever need a tailor, contact me. (VonEbs) I can make costumes for your performers.
