It was quiet within Brelus as Ostromir strode in. The air was stagnant with the feeling of dread and Ostromir could tell, yet he ignored it. He continued on into the city, seeing the crowd set before the cathedral and his cousin, Sigmar step from it. As he would move to greet Sigmar, Ostromir would be struck with words that blew past him...

"The Duke is dead, cousin."

Ostromir did not speak, he did not do anything. The Bear of a man stood there for a moment, feeling all of his responsibilities rush out of him with that one sentence. He was nothing, or so he thought. Ostromir was dead to the world, as he was when he was born. This, though, he knew.

Quickly, the Bear rushed into the cathedral to see Constantine carrying Duke Sarkozic's lifeless and headless body, that much bringing Ostromir to his knees. The one man he thought cared of him or what he said, dead to some assassin. There was nothing he could've done but blame himself.

The Bear crawled towards the alter, no longer a man but a mere husk as he would fall on all fours, tears running down his gaunt cheeks before his head would shoot up along with his body, bringing him back on his calves.

There he sat for several minutes, contemplating and praying before his hand would slip down to his dagger, quickly ripping it from his scabbard and putting it across his throat.

"I have failed."

And with that, the blood did flow. Ostromir's blood leaked down his black steel plate and around his knees, forming a crimson puddle just as Hugues' did. His thoughts drummed on, his family would not care, he was but a tool to them, used and abused. A spoiled piece of garbage that had served it's purpose many years ago. And, as he fell, his lips curled down into a frown, his eyes remaining peeled open, staring on for what he would never regain. His honor.

((Suicide, Perma Kill. I'm sorry if you weren't ever able to RP with Ostromir as he was quite the interesting character who developed over the period of about six months. I'm not quite sure where I'll go from here or if I will, only time will tell. Thanks in advance for the mature posts you guys will make.))

A Roke would straighten his back atop of his new steed, feet budging in the saddle's stirrups, before he let out a dry chuckle, murmuring to himself after the recent field battle, and now the rumors of the Duke and 'Bear's' demise.

"You just keep on losing, don't you?"

Quinn Falk dips his head with respect, frowning. "I didn't know you long, but you were a prime example of what a Vladov can achieve. Rest in piece, m'lord."
