"Lyuin, can we not ask Tahariae for help in this matter? I for one know I have served him without question, would he not be willing to bless us with some sort of edge against these dark creatures? The War-Clerics are few and spread thing, is there not a way we priests can step up? I know I've spoken with a few others, and they agree with me. I for one would like to ask Tahariae to bless some of us with the power to defend, the ability to make and shape shields. War-Clerics have this ability, but again, they are few and not growing at a steady pace. You'll have to forgive me if this idea sounds a bit hectic, but I'm tired of seeing my friends die and get hurt because I couldn't step in and stop them. Tahariae would has us remove the dark from this world, and as a priest I treat the wounds upon the descendants, but there has to be a way for us to prevent this." Andriel says, turning to the entire group as he talks, "All of us have been marked in same way by the dark," he says, motioning to Elvira as an example, "Myself included. I cannot speak for you all, but I know I will follow Tahariae's will to the very end. I'm willing to take arms against those who plague us. It makes me sick to see my friends in need, and I can't stand it anymore" he says, his brow furrowing as he speaks, his tone rising, he turns to the senior Clerics and the Itherals, "Please tell me what I can do personally. I will fight, but I cannot do it alone."

Ramza listens to his speech, giving a smirk then turning to Hesh. "You said his light was like a warrior yes?" He chuckles softly turning to Andriel.

"I do agree with your courage and loyalty, I must say and most what you haves said is very correct.." He looks to the itherals then back. "As a new war cleric and as well as Hesh there, being a war cleric is only a boost to helping out. The fight, I will be requesting the Paladins to maybe give us a hand on training. Not with our light. As Aldrik said, we need to have proper gear and weapons to be prepared for ANYTHING and such, always carry gold and such. No daggers, maybe just in case. But a sword will do so much more. Even though most of you priest can not fight.. Get rid of that logic this instant!" He stands up looking to them. "They prey on us because we let them, we give them the idea we can not fight. Even though your light are not like the itherals or war clerics, that is a stupid excuse. It is not an excuse for you to simply stand there and die or let others! You have hands and feet, you can use a sword or a bow. Anything. Running is a last on your mind. We are not weak kittens in a dog world. We are much greater. " he says to them

Aldrik pauses at their words before he'd state in a rather deadpan fashion

"My issue with Cleric apprentices nowadays is they get too used to thinking in terms of one venue: Magic. Firstly, forming shields from Clerical light would require years upon years of experience, not to mention would be so draining, you'd practically be rendered a mewling kitten."

"War-Clerics are War-Clerics because they learn NOT to rely solely on one avenue...though perhaps Ivanus might have thoughts on the matter..."

"I agree with you.." He nods, turning his attention to the other clerics.

"Do not think when you ask to become a war cleric it will happen. It is not as easy as some of you think. It takes a long time and much to even prove you are worth of it. Even now I am not able to do much with my gift. Myself and Hesh still have much training to go through.. " he says softly

Cheza listens to them all, her head moving to face each speaker in turn before suddenly blurting out "Oh for fucks sake! Instead of sitting there crying about wanting something new do what every person with a brain does! Grab a real shield, grab a bow, grab a bloody sword or some form of weapon bigger than just a dagger and learn how to use it!"

"Look at me!" She gestures to her rather scrawny form. "I've served in guard forces, I've fought in battles, I've killed people! If a weak little mage like me can do it then so can you! You don't have a connection to the void corrupting your muscles as I do! So stop crying like a child and get to work. Use sense. Wear armor, carry weapons. This is a dangerous world so learn how to defend yourself or die."

Her rant over she flops backwards to lay across the floor, grumbling softly to herself.

Andriel looks to Lyuin as he speaks, waiting for him to finish, he responds, "With all due respect, my dagger and my bow have taken me far. I will agree with you, a part of me is very interested in Magic. I always say it's the High Elf in me. However, seeing that I was blessed with the tool of Magic, I would like to use it as such. If I can be trained to manipulate it so that I can use it to help others, I would do it in a heartbeat. This world is full of many harmful things, and it pains me to say it, but they are there and real, knocking at our door. I want to answer the door, and show those who knock that they cannot treat us like that. Swords and Bows only go so far, and if Magic can give us that upper hand, then yes, I am thinking in that venue. I've been attacked many times by the Dark beings, even one who cut my connection to Tahariae temporarily, this is something I wish on no other. The feeling I felt was one of pain, being alone, it was so crushing... To note as well, when I came in and saw Elvira's Arm rotting, the one that was sewn to her, it made me so mad." Andriel pauses, his voice was raising as he spoke, he takes a deep breath, calming down, he continues, "Apologies lliran, it just gets to me sometimes. I just want to help"

Elvira sighs. "True but is it wrong to simply suggest something? While myself and Andriel may not be as experienced as most, we are at least suggesting some possibilities that can help... Do not immediately expect us to know everything and attack on us for at least offering suggestions."

She then looks to Cheza. "I have been through a lot, including the recent attack. I have killed a few Frost Witches before and I have seen battles happen. I do know how to fight but do you expect those who cannot to immediately know how when they pick up a weapon? No, they will need to be taught. They will need to be taught how to care for their amour, how to put it on, and such. Tactics to use and so forth. Therefore..." she turns to the rest of the clerics. "If we are to train with weapons, then we will need a person, or more, who will be willing to teach those who cannot fight how to fight, and anything they need to know about weaponry. This teacher, or teachers, will need to know a lot about fighting and can guide those unable to fight..."

"I can teach how to shoot with a bow, or sneak around. My past has granted me the.... skills.... that I posses. I prefer quick, fast, and silent with my blade."

"I will say..this now and hope we all memorize.." He says as he pokes his head with a sigh. "A few of the Paladins have accepted my resquest on helping us fight. Cans Paladins are made in offense and some have no problem in lending a hand. So let us work with them to improve our bond and techniques.. What Cheza said, we should not depend so much on our magic. That's why I gave those who were my students before being connected. On being taught how to use medical aids and herbs. There will be moments and times were we need to save strength and time by not using our magic. If we have and are thought the knowledge and way, we can surely do it. Yes, most of the clerics can not fight but that does not stop us from getting the aid of others to help fight with us and train us"

"Is there anything else I can do? I've been a Connected Cleric for over an Elven Month now." Andriel says, sighing as he finishes, he turns to the Itherals and War-Clerics gathered, "When the time comes and there is a spot available, I would like to be taught by you all. If Tahariae marks me as a Warrior, then I will fulfill this. This is the only option I can see which will allow me to do what I want to, while still following Tahariae's path."
