Letter To My Caliph

Khalestine's sun had long set when a letter had arrived, delivered by a man in monk robes to a Mubarizun guard. As directed by the letter - it would be sent to The Caliph.

 

"My Caliph,

 

You of all people should know of my struggle reassimilating in this new Khalestine. It is near unfamiliar and many loved ones have met their end to the Strykewyrm back in Al-Dirahk. Regardless of my feelings, my greatest fear is that the kafir will knock on my door when I am off fighting the war and cut down my loved ones. With permission from Baudric, I write this request to you.

 

I wish to create a commandery for my brothers to use in order to station battle ready comrades to aid the city. This is a humble request given your history with our Order and the friendship you had with my grandfather. I request the commandery be built relatively close to the palace for ease in cooperation with the Amir. It will also serve as a private place of worship to Allah and a storage facility. Should you have any wish to donate supplies to the construction, I ask you contact Baudric. It is in our interest to protect the city from the recent increase in defilers and Adrian Mutts that try to climb our walls.

 

I have spoken to Morvan of Orvar about the cooperation of our forces and I have spoken to Rilkor Niwarsay about the building's preparations. I only seek your permission to allow the plans to continue.
