I best like the rule that villains may not return items to someone they have killed. Few successful villains are or would be merciful in that way.

I didn't have trouble with any of the rules. If this changes I will ask then.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?

Some of my friends have applied and I figured I might as well apply as a possible thing to do for entertainment.

What is roleplaying?:

Roleplay is acting in the place of a fictional character. Making choices as they would and being them as best a person can possibly can. Interacting in a fictional world as a fictional character. It is also important to remember to keep OOC and IC separate. 

What is metagaming?:

Metagaming is using ooc information or ooc factors to directly influence ic aspects within roleplay. A simple example would be to know where a secret treasure horde is because you heard of it oocly, but your character hasn't learned of icly but miraculously stumbles upon and takes whatever they can.

What is powergaming?:

Powergaming is trying to force your actions upon another player or character without allowing them freedom of choice. A common example would be saying you injured somebody with an attack without giving them a chance to dodge, block or counter.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Vey'ales was born into a very poor but old family that lived in Ker'nor. Her mother was a seamstress that sheltered her daughter greatly as she began to grow older. Her father had once served in the war between the Reformed Kingdom of Oren and the Silver Enclave of Haelun'or, but he did not come away unscathed. He returned home after having lost an arm during combat, because of this he struggled to hold down a job, forcing him to work whatever odd jobs he could find for whatever money he could get. As her father was absent for all but short periods of time if he came home at all on any given day this caused her mother became even more attached to her young daughter. From her mother she learned some simple sewing and how to tend to a house. When her father was home he told her tales of the noble ancestors and taught her the most basic ways of wielding a dagger. During this time as she grew up her life was relatively peaceful until this came to an abrupt end. She was only ten when most of Athera was destroyed by a giant worm. A dark time for her family was only just beginning. At the time when her family was forced to move and could wait no longer, her father had never returned home and was then presumed dead.

Upon arriving in Vailor their remaining funds quickly dwindled and the small family struggled. Vey'ales's mother now lost the last of her hope when Vey'ales was 13. In a desperate move for something she dressed her daughter up in her finest clothes and gave her what little jewellery that had been passed down in the family to make her as appealing as possible, hoping that if anything that Vey'ales might find work in some mans household. So Vey'ales left her new home and mother and never saw either again, she found a new household where she worked as a servant to keep herself housed and fed until she was 19. Not long before she would turn 20 her master died of suspicious circumstances. Vey'ales was considered as a potential suspect but there was no proof of guilt, yet with no master now and no claim to his house or moderate wealth she was left with nothing but the clothes on her back and the few possessions that she owned. She now is trying to find a new home and work so that she may keep on living as best she can with hopes to properly settle down one day.

 

Personality Traits:

Understanding: Vey'ales has a very easy time listening to the worries others have about themselves and accepting them for who they truly are. 

Subservient: Vey'ales is the type to bend to the will of others, unless she cannot stand to act upon the things asked of her she will likely act without complaint.

Compassionate: Vey'ales is very kind and caring to those around her. Freely showing her emotions and willing to act boldly if her friends sake is on the line.

Self conscious: Vey'ales is very concerned and insecure about herself and how others perceive her.

Ambitions:

Vey'ales hopes that one day that she can be happy with who she really is despite her great insecurities. Overcoming her self consciousness and being able to live a little for once. She also would like to become much better at sewing and be able to do more than just repairs and possibly make her own clothes.

Strengths/Talents:

Basic sewing: Vey'ales has some skill with a needle and thread. Patching up tears and repairing damage takes no time at all.

Basic cooking: Vey'ales has the knowledge and skill to make simple meals with limited ingredients. 

Basic dagger fighting: Vey'ales is able to wield a dagger, but most of her moves are flashy or for show. Having little practical fighting use especially with her weaker body.

Weaknesses/Inabilities:

Physically weak: Vey'ales has very little strength, a child wielding nothing more than a wooden stick could likely overpower her in combat.

Un-educated: Aside from knowing about the ancestors, cleaning, and enough reading and writing to do shopping and cooking she knows very little about the world and the people in it.

Insecure: Vey'ales is very insecure about her appearance, actions, and personality. Often doubting herself until the last moment before she is forced to make a decision. 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight):

Upon first glance Vey'ales's most prominent feature is her deep blue eyes. They stand out brightly on her face and are best when accompanied with a shy but sweet smile. Her hair is a stark white that boldly contrasts again her grey skin. At 5'10 her body is slim and petite, weighing in at 150 pounds. She commonly wears a variety of dresses and accessorizes with gold earrings and sometimes silver bracelets that were passed down through her family.
