The Ravens Come "Rumour"

*This is a rumour to be told in taverns, it is not confirmed nor may it be true nor will this "undertaker" character actually exist. Just note that the corpses in Adria would have gone missing and that crows are indeed littering the field, most likely through natural phenomena. Coincidentally strange letters would have also been nailed unto doors at night by some strange event.*

*A note would lay on every tavern, detailing a rumour for every tavern to spread.*

The corpses of many soldiers lay dead in the blood soaked fields. As dusk settled in the distance a man came riding in a pale caravan, he wore the clothes of an undertaker.

He let out a smile and jumped out of his caravan, he removed his white glove and pulled out a measuring tape as he walked to the nearest corpse with the elegance that only a noble could muster, he tipped his hat to the dead man and began to measure the dead Adrian. shortly after, swarms of crows and ravens began to swarm out of his strange caravan to cover the entire battle field, they feasted on the corpses of the fallen leaving no trace of the battle behind, during the feasting frenzy multiple crows and ravens began to eat one another in a horrific spectacle of dread. Angered the strange man clapped his hands and the birds returned into the caravan soaked in blood. He put on his glove and sneered as he saw a horrific spectacle. Two children lay brutally murdered before him it would seem and the crows and ravens disagreed with the flesh they had just consumed...Slightly angered by this, the stranger went to his caravan and took out two coffins bound in chain, he then began to take the measurements of the dead children whom were scattered around the field and began to bury each one. He then clapped his hands once more and the caravan door opened again, crows and ravens began to eat the corpses of men once more.

Night fell and by dawn every single corpse was gone, dead ravens and crows would seem to litter the field.

The next day letters are nailed unto each door in Felsen they all read:

"Bury the children you kill next time...or i will be visiting you shortly."

After a short realization at the last sentence and the coincidental death of the king, some may say the starnger did "Visit" the king one way or the other.

-Sincerely, your "best" friend.

"I will see this alleged sinner stuck onto a cross and repenting for his sin. I will see him squirm as justice finds its way to him and demands his head." murmured a lone figure.

A raven would land and would seem to glare at you as it feasts off a dead rat it found in the street corner. A letter is attached to its foot.

Orcus focused briefly, before the bird would suddenly feel a presence infiltrate its senses; before alas, the bird lies on the ground shuddering in pain. Orcus stepped over, brows furrowed beneath his mask as he uttered but one word. "Repent." he reached down, slowly moving down onto one knee as he moved to grip the letter, and snag it.

The letter would read:

"All succumb eventually, the blind Shepard dies last."

Orcus then drew his dagger, and gutted the bird as it wreathed in pain upon the ground, its form shuddering and giving out as its life blood leaks onto the cobblestones.

"So be it. For you are the blind shepherd, and you will die first."

With that, the Lord of Oathes left.

Eath'Lur grips his katana as he watches the dead bodies from a roof

"Xing xong xing...." - The orc mutters in the old blah "Mi kuld du bettur." - He stares at Catashima, his katana "Flat dah nub'hozh." The orc pulls on his hood and wears his mask, running away into the night.

"I had a dream like this, before you came. Odd."

"A pity. I should like to see this dream."

"No."

Lorien's digits release their hold upon the paper, sending it toiling away in the breeze. It would not drift far, landing in a nearby puddle and returning to its origins. An eye is cast at the inn before the individual slanders back, the silence provided by the rented room beckoning eagerly.
