I think we are to assume that one parent was either Orcish+Wood Elf, Orcish+High Elf, or High-Elf+Wood Elf, and then they mixed with another race.   This is just my assumption, of course.  I might be incorrect.

My mistake, Lenniel is a Orc/Highelf mix. She had a Highelf mother and orc father, not woodelf
