The Necessary Modifications

Thoughts On The Social Structure of Vailorc99ZdjBqWc920CNYsTcvc3WrScVrBDTAm8McbqZk

Introduction

It is apparent that our world is not perfect. It is apparent that our world has undergone many hardships. Our people as a whole have undergone terrible wrongdoings that could have been avoided, if only people had used their heads instead of their swords when dealing with issues. Imagine how many conflicts could have been avoided; the abundance of blood that might not have been shed; how much potential might’ve been salvaged if only we as the people of Vailor thought not about the color of our skin, or the size of our fellow persons; but on the worth of our fellow man, woman, and child? The time’s up and now it’s time to wise up. Eyes up.

The Racism of The Lion’s Share

A human, full of ideals and solutions, walks into a city. But afraid of dilution, the city denies him entry. He may be wise and full of solutions to problems that may save lives; that may save potential losses of souls. Do we not all have the same goals? To survive and live. But in order to thrive and give, we need to stop thinking separately. Every soul can contribute to a better tomorrow.

If we were to all work together to make advances and contribute to the survival of our people as a whole, imagine how much happier we’d be? Without violence and bloodshed, people could live longer and do more with themselves, because right now, a lot of people are living to the ripe old age of “died in childbirth”. Aggression towards each other drives us to massacre our kin and brethren even if we were to survive. We live in a world of grave threats; threats that can’t always be anticipated. However, Racism towards each other can be predicted, and prevented. And it can save a lot of lives.

Even our own races are separated into groups. Frankly, this is ridiculous. Separation of our closest kin and brothers and sisters only leads to the notion that we need to be separated more than we already are. We need to cast aside our petty hatred of each other and work in unison.

Death does not discriminate between the humans, the elves, the orcs, or the dwarves. It takes and it takes and leaves no survivors.

Underpopulation and Overbuilding

We have a severe underpopulation problem in Vailor. I’ve passed through entire cities abandoned all but for a few scavengers. I’ve passed through empty towns, and walked through deserted homes. We as a people together have built far more buildings and cities than are necessary. We could’ve used those resources to build more things that might’ve been useful to our people, or used to improve our useful, populated cities.

Perhaps now is the time to start tearing down such unnecessary constructs and devoting their worth towards something more...worthy. We could make our cities just that much safer by diverting resources from those broken, decrepit cities. I would compare the waste we as a group of nations are making to that of using one third of the paint required to make a masterpiece of unprecedented beauty in order to make children's drawings.

With all this under population, we insist on spreading our people out into towns and houses across vast distances, where putting everyone together in the city would not only increase interaction between people, but it would keep us safer. We would only have to tolerate each other. In that massive world out there, we spread ourselves thin, and make ourselves weak in doing so.

When people are given stores and homes, they leave them empty, and leave no room for actual economic growth. I hardly see any stores populated by their owners, or filled with any actual supply to match the growing demand for food and supply. We need to trim people who ineffectively use their stores and land, and appoint people who can. The strong sons and daughters of this land need to take up their responsibility to take care of our people.

Thoughts in Conclusion

There are a multitude of problems with Vailor, and her people. People slaughter each other in droves. We must take steps to eliminate these problems, and bring our people closer and stronger. We, in a union, can create a better future for ourselves, our sons, and our daughters. Perhaps one day we can live together, can work in harmony, but we must work towards such a goal.

A dark elf comments to the poster. "Any elf with any memory of history has every right and cause for suspicion toward the valah. Unless our history and memory matters none, then we are right to remain guarded against them."

"The reason we do not let any other races inside of Laureh'lin, young author, is that we are in lockdown." ((And most of the underpopulation is ooc time differences))
