A week after the election is closed, a crowd is gathered once more as one of the two newly appointed tilruiran takes the word, clad in his trusted, memorable tuxedo. His silver appendages covered by bright white gloves, and dark leather boots. The old high elf stands before you once again.


First of all, I wish to thank you all for allowing me to be part of your council once more. I am truly grateful to be able to serve you and aid you once more. And to those that voted against my re-election, all I wish is for you to come to me, speak to me, and let me know why you voted against me, so I may improve to please even you in the future.


-Labs

With my return, I bring you the original laboratories, the way they were supposed to be. I have successfully created a solution that will resolve the acid-issue, and I have made sure any acid I create in the future will be stored more safely so it shall not be stolen and abused again. The layout of the spaces may change slightly, as I have come to take a liking to the Maheral’s adjustments, and I’d like to thank him for renovating the elevator down.

Applications shall soon be available at the bottom of the elevator once more to apply for a private laboratory space, and I will gladly aid you all in once again seeking to make progress for our delighted society.

 

-Library

As a result of recent decisions made by the council, it is now my duty to oversee not only your laboratory, but your library as well. I see this as both a great honour, and a gruesome task. Two so incredibly important jobs, both fully committed to and necessary for the maehr’sae hiylun’ehya of our city, merged together and given to one person. I do not plan on taking full responsibility for both these jobs, citizens. I shall be honest with you, it is not within my capabilities, nor within anyone’s to do such in my opinion. It is for this reason I plan on appointing two uhierir’maehr, Maehrir for short. Seekers of knowledge, so they may refill our glorious library and aid me in upholding its greatness.

 

-Parliament

Along with these revisions, a new order shall arise. In my recent years of travelling it has become clear to me that magic is no longer structured, but rather a mess of teachers and students scattered throughout the world. For this reason, I shall birth a parliament. A parliament that shall host meetings for mages, witches and wizards of all kinds, for them to discuss and debate regarding current topics in the magic world. Mages from all ends of Vailor shall be invited to bring life to this parliament. The Parliament of Magi.

However, an order such as this requires a space to meet. This is why I have discussed with my fellow councilmembers, and decided the old, unused arena building shall be refurnished to house these meetings. Additional rooms shall be built for members to stay and teach in, and the center shall be changed into a court-esque hall.

As our society houses some of the most powerful magi of this world, I see it as our duty to set up a system as this. I hope my fellow magi among you will aid me in this venue.

With these actions, I hope to return this city to an age of greatness, prosperity, and wisdom. Maehr’sae hiylun’ehya.

Lyu surveys the crowd, standing watch by the stage. His armor clinks as he mutters to himself, "Good, the labs have been in need of organization ever since that mysterious acid appeared."

Apollo reads over the notice, occasionally nodding pleasantly as he discerns what is written. As his eyes glance over the last notice, his lips curl into a mild frown, the concern wrought on his features only hidden by the Sillumir helm he wears. The reaction is only brief, however, before he steps away from the notice to return to his position in the gatehouse.
