What is roleplaying?: A form of gaming where the user creates a fictional character that is put in a simulated environment and has certain characteristics that hinder or aid him during combat, skills, etc. All decisions are made by the user.

What is metagaming?: Meatgaming is gaining knowledge about a certain players, guild, faction, war, base, etc. from external sources, those that are not found in the game, and uses them to his advantage.

What is powergaming?: Power gaming is using scenarios or conceptualizing events that are impossible or extremely unlikely to occur in a Role Playing environment.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

                My character’s name is Democious De Marle, a High Elf born in the city of Lin’Evaral in Anthos. Ever since the day he was born he was always up to no good, thieving, bullying, and swaggering were a few of his past times as a child. He was an introvert and had very few friends, all of which thought of him as odd and quiet.  He took a certain interest in alchemy, sword fighting, and enchanting. When he was young he would sneak outside the city walls and experiment with various types of alchemy ingredients and potions. One dark evening he was approached by a man in a dark hood when he was out in the wilderness. The man pulled out a dagger enriched with a dark green vile liquid, and removed his hood to reveal a hideous scarred face. “Boys in these parts of the woods are quite rare, especially those who do not know what they are bargaining with.” said the man with the hood. “Such old men with scarred faces shouldn’t be wandering these parts of the woods” Democious snapped. The man only laughed at his rude yet honest remark. The man was a member of the Black Scrouge, and taught the boy about the dark magic’s that hide deep in the world. By the time he was 18 he knew many things about the magic that seeps beneath people’s feet, and how to bind them into potions or enchant them into items. The man explained to Democious the Black Scourge’s plan to invade the land of Haelun’or. Democious refused to use the skills he learned to slaughter his own people, and thus was imprisoned and locked away in the cave where they did their studies. Democious managed to escape and made haste to Vailor and collapsed of exhaustion.

                He escaped to a plateau (modern day Than’siol). He awoke in the bed of a beautiful High Elf that found him two miles south of her river home. She patched his wounds with magic. Her name was Malrune and she was a High Elf that practiced Magic. “An Elf with such wounds must have been in quite some trouble wouldn’t you say?” Malrune threatened as she held a dagger up to his neck. Democious burst into tears and cursed himself for all of the things he has gotten himself into. Seeing as he wasn’t a threat, she sheathed her dagger and helped him onto his feet. She took him to the river where Democious explained everything to her, the man with the hood, the invasion, the blood magic pact, and how he betrayed his people. Rather than turning him in, she forgave him and aided him in his recovery and the two became friends. The two fell in love shortly after and moved into the woods. One day, a raid of undead threatened Al’Khazar, and on the way to the city, they ran into Malrune and Democious, who were a few miles west of their river home. The skeletal army slayed Malrune and from the rage, Democious fought back shortly, however the vast army soon overwhelmed him. Democious escaped and ran as fast as he could to their house, knowing that the army will reach him any minute. He grabbed supplies, food and Malrune's sword. With a heavy heart, he made haste for Al’Khazar. He used his enchanting and alchemy skills to work for human blacksmiths and picked up the skill of sword fighting. He is now a mercenary, a wandering soul that came to Vailor with his own people. He worked as an alchemist and enchanter in  He let down many people in his life and with the spirit of Malrune in his heart and his sword by his side, he rides into the lands, looking for a purpose.

Personality Traits: quick tempered, whimsical, hot-headed, and quiet.

Ambitions: over cumbering his enemies and opponents.

Strengths/Talents: Alchemy, sword fighting, and enchanting, and 1v1 assassinations or brawls

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Fighting in battles, engineering, and masonry.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Skinny, muscular yet lean, 180 pounds and 6”6 ft, swift and agile, light bright green eyes, scar coming from neck to upper left ear, and White hair.

-Your application was very good and you do seem like you'd fit in well! But there are a few small issues that you must revise in your biography. One of which is that your character cannot learn any type of magic before actually entering the server. You must do this in roleplay rather than using an application to get all the magic before actually learning it. And assuming you were allowed to, I'd watch the power-gamey aspects of the app as well. 'Destroyed the entire army using dark magic' for example would be considered powergaming..., but it should not be in the bio at all for the reason stated before, so please revise this. 

 

- Your biography takes place in 3.0! Currently we live in Vailor, meaning you must update your biography to match up with your characters age... or simply change your age. - Your character has brown hair and is a High Elf, this wouldn't make sense with our server lore and I'd reccomend reading this to better your knowledge on your chosen race! http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/High+Elves

 

-Also, you mentioned some strong ties between your character and the Druidic Order, since it is a player-run group things they do to your character would have to be done in character, so when you mentioned that they bannished you from using magic etc, it didn't really make sense in this sense.
