And so it returns

A formal speech of defence of Tilruir'mali

Taeleh would return to Fi'ceru once more, gazing down upon the town built by his Elibar'acal brethren. He scowls as some Sillumir are seen passing the street below, and he begins to descend, making his way to the inn to speak. As he steps on stage he draws a golden blade.

"It is those who do the cursed act who so preserve our state from threats which come from without. But it is the mali'aheral of Haelun'or who protect the state from threats of within. It is our blessed Republic which preserves itself. And yet in years past our judgement has failed us. Laethis led our kind to elect not just any council, but one which consisted of two impure frost-witch consorts, a frost witch itself and a shade who had been constructing dark mage training barracks in the labs, with exits into both the city and outside."

Taeleh pauses and twitches.

"It is now upon this day that yet another elf returns from the era of Laethis. One by the name of Elwyn, former husband to a shade herself. Former ally of Laethis herself. Though I claim not to know if she secretly believes that Laethis was a pure high elf, despite the myriad of evidence against him— I know not. However, what I know is plain. The Tilruir'tir so sought to use her position and her guise of "enforcing the law" to perpetuate her own political act."

"For centuries the office of Okarir'tir was divorced from politics, and yet we see it employed in a savage power grab. Mail'aheral of Haelun'or— let this be plain to you. This elf by the name of Abigail is, undoubtably, a planned  element of the plan of Izalith. It is she who returns and in two days challenges the government. It is she who acts without knowledge. It is she who very perhaps holds views which wish to drag us back to the dark ages of Laethis".

Taeleh would stride from the stage, uttering clearly as he does.

"For years I have served Fi'ceru, building it from the ground up based upon schematics designed by the Tilruir'leyun. It is even to this day I so expand our city for our blessed kind. It is this office I serve dutifully and with patience, just as I serve the mali'aheral— even if some engage in destructive habits".

"This Republic of yours is corrupt to its foundations. No matter what faction involved it is in its base form a corrupt, decaying carcass of something formerly great. I watch from inside our blessed city and I watch from a distance and nothing changes. Positions are bought and sold behind closed doors while plots to end each others rival through means of murder or manipulation of others ensue behind these very same closed doors. There is nothing 'Blessed' about this Republic of yours, you and the other factions keep a guise of democracy but in actuality it is a dictatorship of a few Mali. I beseech all Mali'Aheral with a brain not to adhere to this Oligarchical State that has formed under our very noses. I can only look to our Maheral for guidance as I believe he is the only one not smitten by this corruption due to him distancing himself from the various closed door factions." Orsino would finish his speech presumably being held somewhere where he is heard.

"I, Abigail Massey of our once blessed Silver State of Haelun'or, have not a clue of what it is you're implying that I have planned with Elwyn Izalith, but you may rest assure that I have no business what so ever with conspiring with our Tilruir'tir. It is now that I see that you believe I'd ever go back to the days of the olden government. And it is now that I say I have no intentions of recreating the form of government that one elected official has say and order of an entire nation, that being the position of a Sohaer. We are not the Valah whom tend to have a sort of dictatorship with their elected official known as a Emperor or a King. We are mali'aheral, our responsibility is to maehr'sae hiylun'ehya and maehr'sae hiylun'ehya only. It is when we've progressed from the days of old to when a Sohaer had power, to now here where we have established a council of mali'aheral with several duties to attend to. So I state this now, Taeleh, I will never bring my kin back to the olden days of a corrupted Sohaer."

Abigail crosses her arms, stating for all to hear.

"Llir, this has become pathetic. You would not have even call for this election had you actually been appointed within the law as you claimed previously, otherwise why else would you have now resorted to planting notions of conspiracy into the minds of Elmali'aheral? This is just desperate. Do you actually believe Elmali'aheral would be so easily fooled? You sing the same song of Laethis Izalith and his Frost Witch conspirators at the sight of any challenge or opposition. Is that you perhaps hope Elmali'aheral will believe that they too are his conspirators if ensure that they hear nothing else from your mouth? I speak on behalf of Elmali'aheral when I saw we are not so easily taken for fools."

"Perhaps in your next speech you should sing a different song from the day Laethis and his conspirators were removed from the Silver Council. It's a song you've neglected to share with Elmali'aheral thus far. The song of how you alongside the other Tilruiran exploited the information Kelthran has present to you in order to usurp their positions without an election. I will admit, it was well conceived. You assumed their positions in a state of emergency and held them long enough that Elmali'aheral would ignore how you came to be Tilruir'mali. That being said, you made one dire mistake, and that was believing that I wouldn’t notice.

"You prattle on hoping that Elmali’aheral will belief that I only enforced the law to perpetuate my own political act. I will however say you weren’t entirely wrong. It was a 'savage power grab', but not the one you believes it to be. The abolishment of Eltriumvirate was necessary for Elmaehr'sae hiylun'ehya and it became necessary once again after you took it upon yourself to breathe life back to an inherently corrupt Triumvirate, ignoring those that had actually been elected to lead. I was elected by Elmali'aheral as one of six Tilruiran and I will lead as one of six Tilruiran. I will not standby and watch as our laws, the Ellir referendum you put forward yourself are made a mockery by your Triumvirate. The only political act I am guilty of perpetuating are the laws set forth by Elmali'aheral."

"Believe as much as you would like that there was some hidden agenda behind this election. It wil only just reflects upon yourself and your own lust the dominance of Elmali’aheral. You cannot believe that another is earnest in their pursuit to enforcing the laws of Elhaelun'or because you yourself are not. Cease polluting the minds of Elmali'aheral with this folly simply because you cannot comprehend that another actually desires to adhere to the laws. And lastly, do not damage the character of your opposition to win this election simply because the nine hour election you conceived wasn't short enough to remove your challengers as you had hoped. Abigail is no element of mine or Laethis' and no matter how much you would like to believe this you weren’t challenged because those that are Mali’ata seek your undoing. You were challenge because your petulance will be the undoing of Elmali’aheral and Elmaehr’sae hiylun’ehya.”

“maehr’sae hiylun’ehya”
