A New Night's Snow, Silver and Dark

A dull breeze wafted across the seas, enveloping the small island off the coast that lived only in the minds of a rare few. The amber glow emitted by the setting of the sun cast a silhouette about the figure that stood upon the head of the isle. Garun averted his gaze from the rising and falling of the ocean waves; he had been listening to their whispers for hours. He retreated through the ever-strengthening winds, to the little shack that had been a haven for the few that possessed what he possessed; Elorna was one of those few. With a heavy heart, the Druid of the Pine produced a tankard of tea, proceeding to the balcony where he sat and raised his drink in toast.

"To my mentor and dear, dear friend. Our paths shall cross once more Elorna, be it in this life or the next. May the Aspects bless ye on yer travels. Van'ayla llir."

For a brief moment, Garun paused to question the fact that he had touched on the elven tongue, something he rarely did, before shrugging and proceeding with the toast, downing his tankard in one. He took a final look at the darkening horizon, before stepping inside out of the cold.

((One of the best RPers and best players that I've known on LoTC. You are one of the players I've known the longest, and it appears that my LoTC buddylist is getting smaller and smaller. Good luck in everything Bird, it'll be odd not having you around. Farewell Dove Druid. ))

((Can't do an RP post that means much, nor an OOC one that has a lot to say, but you'll be missed! Here's a last bird gif, for the road.

Hope all the other ones provided at least a little, feathery joy when ever I was overcome by the temptation to send you one.

Peace!))
