Those who join cast aside secular intentions among the Lakalatrava as they are working towards Laklul's will. They do, however, retain their loyalties and quarrels on other matters. The order is led by Swampgoth Shreck'Lak, as mandated by Laklul himself. He organizes the warriors and formulates the demise of opposing spirits though they do rely upon wise shamans such as Thurak'Yar to communicate with Laklul. The hierarchy is relatively simple; all are equal among Laklul, are free to voice their word though ultimately they must obey the word of the Swampgoth for he too ultimately obey the word of Laklul. All, despite race, unless you're kha, are allowed to join. Though along with zeal they must bear a reasonable amount of strength or competence to serve Laklul meaningfully. Members of the Lakalatrava can further Laklul's influence by making sacrifices in his name, spreading swamps, building shrines, calling his name in the heat of battle and acting against the interests of rival spirits. --- --- --- Traditions Similar to Laks all are gifted with a swamp rat for intercommunication, those who have served Laklul faithfully said to have even received a toalak. Those loyal to Laklul brand themselves are bear a scar in a frog's silhouette though this is completely optional. Lakalatrava forsake the the demented spirit Arwa, Laklul's mortal enemy, in a complex ritual in the spirit realm. Though they lose fertility temporarily it will be, of course, restored when Laklul garners enough power and usurps the flawed and twisted Arwa. --- --- OOC: The order's purpose is to offer occasional role-play with a spiritual twang.
