Corruption, The Beginning and The End

A clamor is heard from the Archbishops quarters, the various acolytes and servants of the keep cleaning about, before Peredono would enter, dismissing the raucous laborers elsewhere. He’d then take his seat before the embellished desk, his soft hands reaching for the quill, the feather swaying lightly in the breeze as he tugs it from the ink. He’d press the pure object to the paper soundly, beginning the wording laid before him in seclusion, from the outside, from the war, from the darkness, and only his faith be laid to the scripture.

A highly distorted course, A highly redundant and awful overcoming. Corruption, where we would not expect such fraud and foulness. Some may have different views of the subject, and some may support such things without knowing it. But what is the basic representation of such a subject? Why do we perform such acts? It may be unknowing, or perhaps we are simply bred and groomed in such a place that it is natural to us all. What is to be believed, through corruption, is a path where one sells out a certain area or organization in the background, for political gain or greed. To corruption comes the basis of all war, all power, all that is defined as unholy by GOD himself. An understatement to be made by those who are in fact shown themselves as the origin of such qualities that we exhibit to this day. So you each must ask yourself what lies inside of you. What man did you end today for the simple dreaded mina in which absorbs all greed, to cause the pilfering of our sacred country, our nation, our GOD.

The lone clergyman would suddenly stop, his hand coming to the various scrolls lined onto his shelf, before he’d pull one to the desk, opening it, and trembling for a brief moment before emplacing it back onto the shelf. He’d bring his quill to paper once more, a renewed vigor striking his mind as the thoughts beat at him, driving him forth.

What man have you shilled to become politically superior? Shilling takes the form as the pretense of optimistic behavior to one whom may think you are there companion, though in the shadows you gamble them into your service unknowingly. What may bring about such severity in the human being that they succumb to the petty contretemps that takes every weak human, and the unfaithful? Corruption. That simplistic word is what destroys the heart, and the soul of every strong nation, organization, and personal being. It might as well be also what forges it, for all but the pure must fight this disease, and bring about true piety, candor, and strength. If we do not, what are we but the spawn of Iblees itself bred in the form of nothing more than a decadent rat.

With that, Peredono of Valenza would retract his quill from the long written sheet, enveloping it immediately with the seal of the Ashford faith onto it, and sending it by bird to greet the Pontiff.
