Royal Writ of Ennoblement for the House of Karlowicz, 1550

Issued and Confirmed by His Royal Majesty the King of Vandoria, John I Godfrey, the Sixteenth of the Snow’s Maider, 1550

TO OUR BELOVED SUBJECTS,

It has pleased the Apostolic Throne to raise Our leal vassal, Nikola Karlowicz, to distinguished rank among Our subjects. Accordingly, and with the grace of God and the attentions of Our realm, We do confer the status of nobility upon the House Karlowicz, in trust to Our throne for the duration of their loyal service. Its dynasts are enjoined to marry within their status, and similarly to disown such relations as shall displease Our rule. They are granted the Burggraf of New Pravets, and granted the right to be addressed as Burggraff. In return, and as a sign of Our graciousness, We do privilege their head to petition Our court, and to hold land in homage to the Apostolic Kingdom of Vandoria

IN NOMINE DEI,

His Apostolic Majesty, the King of Vandoria John I Godfrey, King of Vandoria, Imperial Prince of the Holy Orenian Empire, Erzherzog of Longfield, of Herzog of Vanderfell and Hallowvale, Markgraf of Krinford and Dunamia, Graf of Felden and Ard Ghorrock, Freiherr of Valeford.
