We play a race based around getting drunk and running around.

Can halflings breed with the other races? I've seen too many bad 'original' jokesters running around on ologlings or dark halflings and it is repulsively dumb and doesn't really seem logical.

Without going into detail of Halfling anatomy it really just doesn't work, as such Halfling "Half breeds" do not work like other half breeds and much like the Kha are impossible to produce.

Fun Fact: Halflings actually reproduce via 'Cabbage Surrogate', and are grown and harvested in their fields from heads of lettuce, thus why, as Dovahkiin touched on, inter-species relationships would be biologically impossible.

Source: This is how my character Cabbage was born. He's actually just a really really tall, improper halfling. No meta pls.

The easiest way to really get the accent is to read what we type in rp, it usually goes something like this

'lo every'un, 'ow goes the weatheh? Me name is Bolo bu' ye can jus' call me Bolo. I'm quite the good guy as ye can see an' I'm sure we gonna be able t' mee' each otheh again real soon. Nice talkin' t' ye an' 'ope ye 'ave a nice day!

The thick accent from the guide was used more in Asulon - Anthos times, the typical accent nowadays is a bit softer. The best way to learn will always be to hop straight into RP and pick things up as you go along.

I thought the cabbage surrogate thing was a joke.

Idk where else to put this. What is the procedure for gaining plots of land? Would it be possible to claim as part of the village the stretch of beach on the east? Then we could finish that dock, and (more importantly, at least for me whose house faces the water) mobs wouldn't be spawning on my front lawn and possibly wandering into the village.

~*~

There is a whole village of active Halflings found behind Sutica in the village of Reedsborough. Jandy would be the person to talk to and many active Halfling families can be found in the Family Records section of the Halfling forums.
