The Reformed Krug-hai

The Krugh-hai is the elite, immovable fighting force of the Uzg. In many respects, it is no different to the standard lifestyle of many Orcs within the Uzg, as all Orcs born within the Uzg are automatically enlisted into the Krug-hai. They are taught from birth how to fight and survive out in the world, and will be forced into harsh situations to test their personal strengths and convictions. When they are hardened and have learnt to utilise their destructive nature, they are sent out into the world to exact the great fury of the Uzg back onto those that would shun or betray them.

 

The previous military force was strife with titles and confusion, but has since been rectified by the current leadership circle. Now, there are but a handful of titles one can gain while serving within the Krug-hai. They are as follows:

 

Keshig: The Keshig are the personal guards of the Rex, and serve to protect him and the interests of the War Uzg at all times. They will follow the Rex to political outings and together, form one of the greatest raiding parties the Orcs are capable of gathering. To earn the title of Keshig, one must prove their loyalty to the Rex, as well as their unquestionable fighting ability and political mindedness. All of these traits are essential in creating a well-rounded guard for the Rex.

 

It is a great honour to earn the title of Keshig, and all who bear it are to be shown the utmost respect. They are typically adorned in a the strongest steel the Uzg can produce, and wear horrifying visages, heralds of the great fear they will amass along their campaigns.

Dominus: The Dominus is the second in command, and serves as the nations leader when the Rex is unavailable. The Dominus has proven his abilities across all fields, and has garnered a fearsome reputation within the sands of the Uzg. He is given the responsibility of upholding tribute, and finding new tribute as set out by the Rex. He is also in charge of land distribution, and can acquire and use land without having to see to the Rex.

Targoth: There are generally three Targoth that serve beneath the Dominus, and they are the leading forces within the Krug-hai. They are among the most esteemed fighters of the War Uzg, and have vast and brutal experience in both war and raiding. As a result, they are capable of leading many parties to victory, and take the mantle when the Orcs go to war against other nations. Additionally, they are the leading figures when they are within raiding groups, and will see to it that those before them fall.

Warbosses: A Warboss serves beneath the Targoth, and operates on their command. They are enlisted with the responsibility of leading their own Warbands, and can take them on the more politically inclined raiding outings. They will assist the Targoth in achieving goals set out by the Dominus, and will ensure that the fearsome reputation of the Orcs is upheld.
