Weakness. That was all she felt the past six months. Her body was deteriorating and quickly. She knew what was coming. She had told Callax and Taynuel what she wanted done. Her blue eyes looked up at the ceiling as the cries of a child filled the room. She had barely been back an elven month. She heard movement to her left and her eyes slowly fell on her fiance. “Narmir.” she breathed as he struggled to sit up. His eyes looked to her, terrified and proud. He moved closer, handing her the infant. “She is beautiful, and so is the baby.” he said, trying to lighten the mood. His eyes looked her over, knowing she was going.

“Marry me.” she begged. “Please Narmir…” He shook his head. He smiled at her not willing to listen. “Let me just pull an Artimec out of my ass.” he joked, trying to ignore the inevitable. He moved to her brushing the hair out of her sweat covered face. She frowned before slowly struggling to touch his cheek. “W-we don’t need him…” she murmured. “Please. Just marry me...right here…” Narmir looked at her, reluctantly, before slowly nodding his head. He removed a ring from his possession and took hers off.

“I, Narmir of Taveira, Seed Elder of Torena, Patriarch of my name and El’Haler of Sirame, take you, my lovely Lilliana Solaray of Camoryn, to be my wedded wife. For better or worse, death shall not part our bond. I shall stay loyal and faithful till the end of my days and beyond.” He put the gold vine wedding band onto her left ring finger. His lips brushed against her cool flesh, holding it as if it was made of porcelain.

“I...I Lilliana Solaray, o-of the Camoryn seed. T-take Narmir Torena t-to be my h-husband.” she rasped, struggling to sit up, even a little. “For….for better or worse. Even death shall not p-part us. I-I promise to s-stay faithful and loyal...A-and a-always by your side…” She winced as she struggled to place her band on his finger. He held her up enough and helped guide her shaking hand to his. The band placed on his finger, she smiled softly. “W-what are we….we naming her?” she asked, motioning to the child.

Narmir’s eyes turned towards the sleeping infant and thought. “Elawynn Taveira.” he said simply, his voice shaking as his eyes fell back to his wife. Lilliana smiled weakly as she touched the infant’s face. “Ela.” Her lips moving into a soft smile. Narmir brought himself to her lips, sealing their vows and love in a kiss. He felt her cold hand touching his cheek briefly before it slid down back to her side. He released the kiss and buried his face into her neck.

He could feel her weak pulse, her cold flesh. They were late. They were too late…

OOC

This is not a PK post, but I am not sure if it will become a PK or just a long shelving of Lilliana. I loved the character but things have changed since my return and her roleplay has not been entirely fun. Should this become a PK I will make the necessary posts to have her removed from druidism

A man could not feel happier seeing his wife and daughter together like this. Though, things were soon to change: His wife was weakened from delivering their Elawynn. Her skin: Cold, her lips: purple. Her visage showing fatigue yet... happiness. "Rest my Dear" Narmir spoke as he tugged her in, their child wrapped in the finest blanket he could get his hands on. He took the kid with him, leaving his wife to rest. "The kitten, will have her long nap" He speaks as he makes his way back into the City of Laureh`Lin to spread news to family and friends. Not a single tear wept that day.

By the balcony of Laureh'lin, a Mali leaning on it's fencing, his head raised as he overhears the news. Though distance limiting the range of his hearing unable to make out the full story he ponders about the mother.

"I wish the Mali good blessings on his new child... Though... Where is the mother...? I shall not delve... But hope for the best..."
His eyes continuing to gaze at Mali as he soon sighs looking down as he resumes to lose himself in his thoughts all alone once more.

Damai approaches Narmir, his friend, brother and companion. He placed an arm around Narmir's shoulders, breathing in deeply, and exhaling in the same way, before speaking in a hearty, gruff voice of his "You have brought a new life into the realm and the Torena seed, brother you have done well with your life and she will succeed you in your bloodline leadership. I place my best wishes upon her and name her Elawynn Torena, and may Cerridwen be with you wife, and care her back to full health." Damai drums his fingers on Narmir's shoulder, his emerald orbs looking ahead toward the ocean. He'd exchange farewells with his brother before pacing off into Laureh'lin once more.
