What is roleplaying?: When you assume the role of a character you have yourself fabricated.

What is metagaming?: Using information theoretically your character wouldn't have knowledge of.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is where you incorporate or force a basically impossible action in an emote/upon another player. For example. Jim attempts to stab Bob. Bob triple backflips and decapitates Jim with his hidden blade.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Falk, a regular Andael male man whom toiled through a fairly regular life. He was somewhat modest and is generally very religious, praying to - within his viewpoint - the all powerful creator. . . It all began on the rather dull year of his birth, fifty one prior to the current, there was not a single conflict in full steam, nation coup or violent uprising.

 

The air was crisp, and the land around Petrus was quiet, spare the distant shuffling and toiling of poor farmer peasants working their somewhat trampled crops, expressions of grimace plastered on each of their countenances. A sudden change of environment was apparent as one entered the walled citadel, the shouting of Falks' father advertising his wares from behind his profusely cluttered stall lingered in the smoggy, horse-faeces reeking atmosphere. Falk sat there, bored out of his wit, tossing up and down affront his beady eyes a fat, bulging back of golden pieces marked with the Emperors face, when a coin came lose and he immediately became enticed with it. He strived to become like his father, buying and producing wares to sell to the people. And so he did. . . though the ways of acquiring the wares or the money for that matter were sometimes far from legitimate.

 

This was in his youth albeit. . .

 

As he matured, and the era abruptly came to an end, a tragedy came with it! His father had been consumed by the gigantic worm that had arose from its slumber, and the residents of Athera migrated to Valor. His methods of acquiring coin became more honest as time progressed. He began dealing in all things farm related; wheat, carrots, potatoes, crops of all forms. Heck, he even laboured himself, either involuntarily or at the expense of other peoples coin. Mostly it was the orcs who employed him as they were more focused on fighting one another and killing creatures than tending to their own fields. (Orcs would otherwise be a poor decision, but after experiencing the massacre of Wett he soon enjoyed the company of the uruks.) One day, whilst plucking matured plants from the sediment, he noticed something shiny: a coin from the previous era; a gold piece now grimy with age, yet still recognisable. . .It had the Emperors face stamped affront it, an old coin by todays standard, but it was in almost peak condition (disregarding the dirt of course, it had been pulled from the ground!). And from that day on, he clutched the coin and it, mostly, faired him good luck, or so he says. Falk states it aided him during the Orenian Civil war when his fondness of the uruks was young.

 

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) On occasion spiteful, but mostly kind. Greedy, especially when he lays eyes upon large sums of money! Hates elves.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) As great of a business man as his dad.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He can lick his elbow, other than that, he has decent knowledge in sword wielding.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Has a large gut, so mobility for him is sometimes difficult.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Falk is a plump, 5'10 man, bearing a bulbous nose and beady brown eyes. Upon his head a curly 'jew-fro' as it be, and a skull cap placed firmly in the centre. His hear is of a dark brown hue and his weight it similar to slightly over-weight male. (Its always prone to changing with his diet!)
