Nature Project

Hello!

As of recently, in my spare time, I've been working on a small scenery/nature plot, of which I continue on with whenever I'm bored, or have a surge of motivation. I'll post screenshots of it here, and update the thread as the build progresses. I've no idea how many hours I've put into it - but it's taken me a while to finish even a quarter of it.

Also, I'm using shaders because it makes me look 99x more professional, as well as this fancy font.

 

[Update 1]

I started with a flat plot of land, and simply started using World Edit to texture the terrain, and simply give me something to build upon. This is what I started with.

 

Honestly, I'm not even sure how I had the motivation to turn this ^, into something better. I started off by using WE brushes to texture the terrain, adding in a large river; of where the build started, and developed around. Anyways; this is what I have now.

 

 

As you can probably see, it's nowhere near finished. I still have about 3/4 of the plot of land to do, I'll give some close-up pictures of what I have currently;

This is all I've done so far... and it's taken me a considerable amount of time, most likely due to the fact I may only work on it for a couple hours a week. If you have any suggestions as to any features you'd like to see in the map, leave a comment!

So, I've started transitioning the area into a forest, and so-far I've only done a very small amount of the forest. However, you can see how it's turning out already!
