De Resurrectione

Scribed by Archbishop Svatobor Ivanovich and released following his Unexcommunication

The 13th of Joren’s Cold, 1557

Addressed to the College and their Pontiff,

In the past, a precedent has been set by the Vicars of God. In the past, the Vicars have not dared to dance the line of death, to escape God’s Judgement or face his Wrath. This practice is employed similarly amongst the Noble Estate and its members, to ensure that one does not cheat God so much as to become as volatile as Death itself.

With this status quo, it is assumed that each following Pontiff, each Vicar of God’s Will in this Plane, will adhere to this practice. The Monks of the Cloud Temple are notably undeclared as Canonists, or even as Creatorists, preferring to place worship on their ‘Triumvirate’. By utilizing this strange practice, often employed by common soldiers or men of the Peasant Estate, you defy God’s Will and his Eternal Judgement.

Therefore, it is presented to this College and this Pontiff, called Siegmund I, that Vicars and future members of the College of Cardinals will adhere to this tradition and not be brought back from death, back from the doors at the Seven Skies, and avoid God’s Judgement.

((This document also proposes an OOC clause, in which all Cardinals and all Pontiffs if killed with proper roleplay do not use the CT Monks for revival, instead PKing))

Signed,

Vice-Chancellor Svatobor Ivanovich ((Hooplah_Heff))
