A cool breeze rolls down the mountain side, wolves howl as the wind gushes through cracks and caverns. A short bare chested dwed trod through the thick snow, an axe within hand. He stopped breathing in the cold air, he let out a slight sigh as he eased himself down onto his knees. The howling grew louder upon the horizon it seemed the mountains were closing in upon the Dwarf. Fear sunk the dwed’s heart, a torment of darkness gripping it, his soul preyed upon from the moon. He looked up wondering if he would join his fallen brothers there someday.

The Dwarf knelt there for hours, the blood red eyes of shadowy creatures in the distance darting side to side getting closer. The wind picked up, its strength turning into waves crashing against a cliff face. Like splinters from shields cracking and breaking in war the ice sharp snow fell heavily, battering against the dwed’s chest.

The sound of crunching snow became louder over the matter of seconds, a large wolf approaching. It snarled it's mouth opening revealing it's large canines drenched in viscous blood. The dwed gulped closing his eyes accepting his fate. To the dwed it felt like the world sunk around him nothing but darkness, him floating within a void, a solitary wolf before him. A swift action. The wolf wrapped its jaw around the dwed’s neck, a chunk of his neck being ripped out. The dwed could only chuckle within his mind. He opened his eyes for the final time looking at no wolf no longer a man backing away half of his face covered with an iron mask. “Narvak oz Dungrimm,” the dwarf ushered out before his last breath…

The dwarf gasped for air a bright light illuminating his body blinding his eyes. He looked to his left, a fire roaring still. It was only a dream, a destiny shown before him. The dwarf removed the covers off from himself and stood from his bed. He looked out the window to the bridge within Kal’Ishtul. Upon the bridge stood a figure, it seemed to bare resemblance to the figure in the dream half masked. Odin kissed the ring upon his finger and returned to bed.
