The Orc Event Team

 

 

Today I am implementing two new systems that I hope will help the Orc community to flourish. Those will be, the Orc Event Team, and Yazgurten Build team. The two groups will work in conjunction to create a more dynamic RP experience around the Uzg; and future maps to come.

 

So, what is the idea behind this new initiative? Essentially, the principle of the Orcish event-team is to be completely self-sufficient in providing RP to our nation. I want to work with the community to establish a network of volunteers that wish to help nurture the progression of Orcish RP. 

 

 

To begin with, I will be accepting five volunteers, each with a specific aspect of Orc RP to play on. These will be listed below, along with what will be expected of you:

Hunting: The representative of Hunting RP will assume the form of several beasts that exist within the Uzg, providing ample hunt RP to Orcs that wish to improve upon their standing in the Uzg, and those that wish to amass a number of trophies that can earn them the title of Huntsgoth. You must have a deep understanding of the different creatures that roam Vailor, and experience with beast RP.

Spirit: The representative of Spirit RP will have an extensive understanding of the Spirits, and will generate RP for Spirit Walks. Typically, this position will fall to eperienced Shamans, who will use their abilities to provide spiritual experiences for Orcs, so that their characters may progress and receive tasks.

Exploration: This representative must be creative enough to conjure up ideas for different areas around the Desert, such as ruins, natural areas and cavern complexes. You will spark an event in RP that will lead a part of Orcs to an area, and will RP what occurs as a narrative.

Festival: This player will be responsible for hosting the different festivals that take place across the Uzg, and will ensure that they run smoothly and efficiently. Must have good organisational abilities and must make fairly decent forum posts.

Worship: The representative for Spirit Worship will pick a Spirit to appease, and gather Orcs to work with them in order to achieve the goal of pleasing said Spirit. Since each Spirit reprents something specific, each one should host a series of unique tasks and opportunities.

 

 

All of the volunteers are expected to work in conjunction with both the build team and the Orcish Leadership to ensure that nothing conflicts and that the events can run smoothly.

I think so? I've written lore, been Wargoth, and played all three subraces so I think that i have decent expierience

I've been playing since 2011 as an orc, so about 5 years

 

Do you have persona slots available?

I have an orc and an olog, so I could either switch them out with event characters or just other orcs/ologs to play as during events. 

What area of RP would you like to assist with?
Definetly more relaxed stuff or spiritual stuff, providing newer orcs with basic things to do while we wait for huge events like Orgon, wars, or Rex stuff.

Orcs and shamans gather around a large bonfire, discussing old hunting stories, old battles, and shamans discuss spirits, and what the spirits want for them.  Basically a chance to discuss characters, make up stories, and have friendship. Lot’s of smoking cactus green. I enjoy it the most for it's simplicity and ability to spread our culture and old ideas rather than just warring all the time.

I would be able to organise hunts and such, show aspects of elementalism, help build rp spots and organise tournaments.

Provide an example of an Event you would organise, relating to your relative choice.

I could organise a large scale hunt, try to get as many people involved as possible, would assign roles to players giving them a sense of purpose and such. The hunt would require the group to track down and eventually slay the beast. Hopefully I could organise some sort of loot so that they have something to show for it.
