In a forge secluded from the world, a lone smith works tirelessly, perfecting a singular mold in the shape of a circle.

 

After countless hours the smith pours liquid metal, white hot from the heat of the furnace, into the mold before setting it aside, allowing it to cool.

 

When the smith removes the mold, they reveal a flawless golden ring.

 

The smith then hands it off to a dark robed figure, who cackles with delight as they envision the dastardly things that will be done with they weapon they are about to bring into the world.

 

 

 

 

Later, in a lonely white stone tower overlooking the sea, the wizard spends days, no weeks on end perfecting the enchantments on the gold ring.

 

When the wizard finishes, they howl in delight, their greatest achievement, something they had dreamed of for years, was now a reality.

 

His weapon was complete.
